R u like on break or something. You haven't posted another fic in days
What a wonderful question. I'm not technically on break, but this week is filled with irl things that need to be done. I've been party planning, gift buying, tweaking the birthday cake design, getting dinner orders and drink orders done.
I also expanded a writing Project that i had on the side, now that it's gaining traction rather fast i have to keep writing for it while the idea is still fresh in my mind. The structure is written out, the ending is already finalized, all that jazz. But i can't put that one on the back burner any longer because the story has expanded and gotten fairly deep.
I also work... and take care of my siblings everyday.
And i haven't had much time for video games, but i still commit to doing let's plays with my friend on YouTube.
Finally, my spine condition is worsening at an alarming pace. In just 4 months I've gone from completely fine, to being diagnosed with Military neck, to fixing it and getting the curve back in my cervical spine, to my body weakening immediately after, to more physical therapy, to suspected nerve compression, then MRIs, finding that the disk between my c3 and c4 vertebrate is deflated due to early stage disk degeneration (that commonly occurs when you're in your 40s, not early 20s) that presses on the nerves and causes severe pain in my body and uncontrollable twitching to the point people think i have touretts, to now being scheduled for EMGs in June, and neurology appointments to find out why my migraine have not only gotten worse, but tighten my jaw and throat now too.
I'm going through a lot, but I'm trying. Fics out soon
Can you please write a fic for Nico Robin x F! Reader pls? F! Reader is a part of the Marines and knew Robin when they were kids and was the only person who liked her in Ohara. F! Reader gets shipped off to the Marines by their parents and before she goes she makes matching bracelets for her and Robin. She then tells Robin if they ever meet again she'll marry her.
Fast forward years later, Robin and the Straw Hat crew are in an island and the marines find them. F! Reader finds Robin and recognizes her but Robin doesn't.
F! Reader protects Robin and makes sure her and the crew get back safely to the Sunny. F! Reader gets hurt and Chopper takes care of her and Robin sees the bracelet and finally realizes who she is.

Threads We Never Lost
Robin x Fem!Reader
No one liked Robin. That was just how it was. The adults whispered, the children stared, no one sat near her. Except you. âYouâre reading again,â you had said, dropping down beside her like it was the most natural thing in the world. Robin didnât look up at first. ââŚYes.â You leaned over slightly, trying to read the page. ââŚI donât get it.â That made her pause. ââŚYouâre not supposed to yet,â she replied quietly. You grinned. âThen you can teach me.â That was the first time she looked at you properly.Â
The day you left, the sky felt wrong. Too quiet. Too still. âThey said I have to go,â you muttered, avoiding her eyes. Robin held her book a little tighter. ââŚWhere?â You lowered your head. âTo my uncle's. He's going to make me into a Marineâ Silence followed. You fumbled in your pocket. ââŚI made something.â You held them outâtwo simple bracelets, woven carefully by hand. âThey match,â you said quickly. âSo you donât forget me.â Robin stared at them. Then at you. âI wonât forget,â she said. You laughed softly. ââŚGood. Becauseââ You hesitated, then blurted it out anyway. âIf we meet again, Iâll marry you.â Robin blinked. ââŚThatâs a strange promise.â You shrugged, cheeks warm. âYeah, well. Youâre the only one I like here.â A pause. Then, slowly, Robin slipped the bracelet onto her wrist. ââŚThen I suppose Iâll have to remember.â
The island was chaos. âMarines!â Usopp shouted. The crew scattered instantly. Robin stayed calm, of course. Until she saw you. You stood across the square, clad in a Marine uniform, unmoving amidst the noise. Your eyes met. And something in your chest stopped. ââŚRobin.â The name slipped out before you could stop it. She frowned slightly. She didnât recognize you. Of course she didnât.Â
You had imagined this moment a thousand times. She would remember. She would smile. She wouldâShe didnât. And it hurt more than you expected. ââŚYou need to leave,â you said, voice low. She didnât move. ââŚYouâre a Marine.â You almost laughed. ââŚYeah. Funny how that worked out.â Shouts echoed behind you, other Marines were closing in. You made your choice. ââŚGo,â you said, stepping in front of her.Â
You moved before anyone could question it. âCaptainâ?!â someone called. âStand down,â you snapped. They hesitated, just long enough. Lightning-fast, you redirected attention, misled, delayedâanything to give them time. Robin watched. Watched as you protected her. ââŚWhy?â she asked quietly. You didnât answer. Because if you didâYou werenât sure youâd be able to stop.
You got them to the ship. âGO!â you shouted. Luffy didnât argue, for once. The crew boarded the Sunny as Robin lingered. ââŚCome with us.â You smiled faintly. ââŚI canât.â
   A shot rang out.
Pain exploded through your side as you staggered. ââŚGo,â you breathed. This timeâShe listened.
You didnât remember how you got there. Only that everything felt distant. Heavy. âCHOPPER!â someone shouted. Chopper was already moving. âStay with me!â he said, frantically working to stop the bleeding. Voices blurred. Except one. ââŚWhy did you do that?â Robin. You forced your eyes open. ââŚYouâre⌠still bad at⌠asking easy questionsâŚâ She stilled.
Chopper carefully adjusted your arm. And thatâs when Robin saw it. A bracelet. Worn and faded, but unmistakable. Her breath caught. ââŚNoâŚâ Memories surfaced. A quiet girl, a promise, a pair of matching threads. Her hand moved instinctively to her own wrist. Still there. Still intact. ââŚItâs you.â Your lips curved weakly. ââŚTook you long enough.â Robin stepped closer. Closer than she had all day. ââŚYou remembered.â You let out a quiet breath. ââŚOf course I did.â A pause. ââŚYou said you would.â Her voice was softer now. ââŚYou didnât.â You smiled faintly. ââŚI did.â Your fingers twitched slightly. ââŚJust⌠not fast enough.â
Silence settled, gentler now. Robin reached for your hand carefully. ââŚYou said something else, too.â You blinked slowly. ââŚDid I?â Her thumb brushed lightly over the bracelet. ââŚIf we met againâŚâ A pause. ââŚYou would marry me.â You huffed weakly. ââŚYeah. I did say that.â Robinâs gaze softened. ââŚDo you still intend to keep that promise?â You met her eyes. Even now, even like this- "...Yeah." You took a breath. ââŚIf youâll have me.â
Robin didnât answer right away. She didnât need to. Her hand tightened slightly around yours. And for the first time since OharaâShe smiled. ââŚI never took it off.â Your vision blurred. But this timeâIt wasnât from pain.
The sea was calm for once. You sat on the deck, bandages still fresh. Robin joined you, quiet as always. ââŚYou healed quickly.â You shrugged. ââŚHad motivation.â A pause, then, "...So." You glanced at her. ââŚAbout that promiseââ Robin leaned slightly closer. ââŚWe have time.â You smiled. ââŚYeah.â This time, you did.Â
Well wellđ đ ..I am here again brainstroming another Robin x fem reader request (also what can I say I am just Robin simpđââď¸)
Robin and reader are not getting along at all. Since reader joined Robin got bad vibes from reader..because her attitude..Well there is thing..Reader is bit of an tsundere and Robin doesn't see that..She just sees her rough attitude..
Inside reader is conflicted..She doesn't mean to be rough..It's just she can't show her emotions..Especially when she sees Robin..In reality she is really thoughtfull person who cares..Her attitude is just something she is using to hide her true self..or her growing feelings toward Robin that she just doesn't want acept..
This changes when Robin sees reader in a deck with Luffy's hat..She going to ask her to give it back but then sees reader to fix it after the battle..And even after that she sees reader to do different things..Like fixing Zoro's swords or sharpening them, helping Sanji to make food or even making new recepies..This makes Robin feel conflicted..Why is reader just harsh towards her but not others? (well geez I wonder why???)
This all come to one one night when reader is in libary and redoing books order..That is when Robin decides to get truth out of her..
Let me just add another Robin request on the listđ but there is no need to hurry..Just take your time with itâ¤ď¸â¤ď¸
It's lowkey hard to write with a bandaged hand because I uh...stabbed myself at work and the knife lowkey got stuck in my palm for a moment so meouch. Anyway.
Between the Lines
Robin x Fem!Reader
From the moment you joined, something felt⌠off. Robin noticed it immediately. You didnât smile much, didnât linger, didnât warm up. When the others laughed, you stayed quiet. When they talked, you answeredâshort, clipped, distant. And when you looked at herâYour expression always tightened. It wasnât obvious to anyone else. But Robin wasnât anyone else. ââŚYou donât like her?â Usopp had whispered once. Robin had tilted her head slightly. ââŚI wouldnât say that.â But she didnât trust it.Â
You didnât mean to be like this. You knew how you sounded. Cold. Dismissive. It wasnât intentional, not really. It was just...easier. Especially with her. Because every time you looked at Robin, something in your chest tightened in a way you didnât understand. So you defaulted; short answers, avoidance, distance. ââŚYou could at least try to be polite,â Nami had muttered once. You had scoffed. âI am.â You werenât. You knew that. But fixing it? That felt harder.
Robin didnât see hesitation. Didnât see conflict. She saw rejection. You helped everyone else. That was the strange part. She noticed it in pieces. Quietly. Carefully. You fixed Zoroâs swords without being askedâsharpening them with precision, adjusting the grip like you understood exactly what he needed. You lingered in the kitchen with Sanji, not talking much, but offering small suggestionsânew spices, different techniques. You listened to Usoppâs stories, actually listened. And Luffy? You never refused him. So whyâWhy was it only her?Â
It was after a battle. The ship was quieter than usual. Robin had been looking for something, then she saw you, on the deck, alone. You were holding Luffyâs hat. Her eyes narrowed slightly. That wasnât something anyone touched lightly. She stepped closer, ready to speak. Then...she stopped. You werenât just holding it. You were fixing it. Carefully. Your fingers moved slowly, gently stitching along a tear at the brim. Your expression was focused, soft, completely different.Â
ââŚYouâll ruin it if you pull too tight,â you murmured under your breath. Robin didnât move, didnât interrupt. She just⌠watched. Because there it was. The person you actually were.
After that, she started paying closer attention. Not to your words, but your actions. You left small things behind for people; a repaired strap on Nami's bag, extra portions of food set aside, weapons maintained before anyone asked. You cared, that much was undeniable. So whyâWhy not her?
It was late when she found you. The ship was quiet, the lights low. You stood in the small library, surrounded by books, reorganizing them. Not randomly. Carefully. By subject, condition, importance. Robin leaned against the doorway. ââŚYouâve rearranged them.â You froze. ââŚThey were out of order,â you muttered. She stepped inside, slow and measured. âThey were in my system.â You avoided her gaze. ââŚItâs better now.â Silence stretched. Thenâ
   ââŚWhy only me?âÂ
Your hands stilled. ââŚWhat?â Robinâs voice didnât change. Didnât rise. âYou help everyone else,â she said. âYouâre considerate. Attentive.â A pause. âBut with me⌠youâre distant.â Your chest tightened. ââŚYouâre imagining things.âÂ
âIâm not.â Of course she wasnât.
You turned away. ââŚIt doesnât matter.â Robin gave you an unamused look. âIt does.â Your hands clenched slightly. ââŚWhy do you care?â That was the wrong question. Robin stepped closer. ââŚBecause I want to understand you.â That made your breath catch. ââŚThereâs nothing to understand.â That was a lie, and you both knew it.Â
ââŚYou avoid me,â Robin said quietly. You laughed, sharp and defensive. âYeah? Maybe I just donât like you.â The moment the words left your mouth, you regretted them. You were met with silence. Robin didnât react the way you expected. She didnât get angry, didnât pull away. She stepped closer. ââŚThatâs not true.â Your heart stuttered. ââŚYou donât know that.â Her gaze held yours, steady and certain. âI do.â You looked away. ââŚYou shouldnât.â
ââŚYou fixed Luffyâs hat.â Your breath hitched. âYou take care of everyone here.â Stop. âYou pay attention to details most people overlook.â Stop. âAnd yetââ She stepped closer. âYou canât look at me without putting distance between us.â Your voice came out tighter than you wanted. ââŚSo what?â A pause. Then, softer, ââŚWhy?â And thatâThat broke something. ââŚBecause I donât know how to talk to you, okay?!â The words came out sharper than intended, faster, unfiltered. You exhaled harshly, running a hand through your hair. ââŚYouâre different.â Robin didnât move. ââŚHow?â You hesitated. Thenâ ââŚYou see things.â A beat passed. ââŚYou see me.â And with those words, silence fell.Â
ââŚAnd that scares you?â Robin asked gently. You laughed weakly. ââŚNo.â A pause. ââŚIt makes everything worse.â Her expression softened. ââŚWhy?â You looked at her, really looked this time. And that was your mistake. ââŚBecause Iââ You stopped. Swallowed. ââŚBecause I donât know what to do with it.â Robin didnât interrupt, didnât push. So you kept going. ââŚI donât know how to be⌠normal about this.â Robin tilted her head slightly. ââŚAbout what?â Your voice dropped. ââŚYou.â
The room felt smaller. Quieter. Robin stepped closer carefully. ââŚYou donât dislike me.â You huffed softly. ââŚNo.â Robin nodded once. ââŚYouâre avoiding me.â You crossed your arms in response. "...Yeah." ââŚBecause you care.â You didnât answer. You didnât need to. Robin reached out slowly, giving you time to pull away. You didnât. Her fingers brushed yours, light and warm. ââŚYou donât have to hide it.â You let out a quiet breath. ââŚI donât know how not to.â A small pause. Thenâ
ââŚYou can start by not pushing me away.â You glanced at her. ââŚThatâs it?â Robin gave you a faint smile. âFor now.â
Nothing changed overnight. You were still a little rough. Still awkward. Still⌠you. But now? You didnât look away as quickly. And RobinâShe stayed closer. Not pushing. Not rushing. Just⌠there. Waiting. Until one dayâYou didnât put distance between you at all. And that? That was enough.

OPLA Sanji x fem reader and theyâre having a food and bakery competition. When theyâre done cooking and the crew are there for a BIG feast. When they tried Sanji food first, it taste delicious but when they taste the reader food, theyâre in heaven. Time for dessert, the crew ate Sanji bakery, it taste delicious. But when they ate the reader bakery goods, theyâre mind blown 𤯠that theyâre crying how delicious it is. So good that chopper transforms big and ran away with the reader food and bakery goods in his arms, obviously not sharing. Just funny fluff
So glad I took culinary classes in school.
Taste of Defeat
OPLA! Sanji x Fem!Reader
It started with a mistake. âYou think you can cook better than me?â The words had slipped out of Sanjiâs mouth before he could stop them. You had paused mid-knead, flour dusting your hands, slowly looking up at him. ââŚDo you think I canât?â A beat. Then, from the cornerâ âOh this is gonna be GOOD,â Usopp whispered. Sanji straightened immediately, pride flaring. âI am a professional chef.â You smiled. Sweet. Dangerous. âAnd Iâm not?â That had been it. Challenge accepted.
âNo cheating!â Usopp declared, climbing onto a barrel like he was officiating something important. âWinner gets bragging rights,â Zoro added lazily from where he sat. âAnd control of the kitchen for a week,â Nami said, far more invested. Sanji scoffed. âAs if Iâd lose.â You hummed. âWeâll see.â From the sidelines, Luffy was already vibrating with excitement. âWhen do we eat?âÂ
The kitchen turned into a battlefield. Sanji moved with practiced precisionâchopping, sautĂŠing, flames dancing under his control. Everything he did looked effortless. Perfect. You, on the other handâ ââŚWhy are you smiling like that?â Sanji asked cautiously. You glanced up, still mixing something. âNo reason.â That was worse. Because your movements were⌠different. Less rigid, more intuitive. Like you werenât following a recipeâYou were feeling it.
The table was packed. Not just fullâoverflowing. Steam curled into the air, rich with butter, citrus, sugar, and something deeper, warmer. Even before anyone sat down, the entire deck of the Going Merry smelled like heaven. âCan we eat now?!â Luffy shouted, already halfway into his seat. âWait!â Usopp threw his arms out dramatically. âWe judge fairly!â Sanji huffed, adjusting his sleeve. âAs if thereâs any doubt.â You just smiled, wiping a bit of flour from your cheek.
They started with Sanjiâs dishes. Zoro grabbed the first plateâseared steak, glistening under a garlic butter glaze, caramelized onions layered perfectly on top. He took a bite. Paused. ââŚDamn.â Nami tried the herb-crusted sea bass next. The citrus butter melted instantly on her tongue, bright and smooth and perfectly balanced. Her shoulders dropped. âThis is incredibleâŚâ Usopp went straight for the seafood risotto. One biteâand he clutched his chest dramatically. âIâve peaked. This is it. This is my life now.â Sanji lit a cigarette, smirking as praise rolled in. âOf course it is.âÂ
âAlright, move,â Luffy said, already reaching past them. âNo, waitâ!â you started. Too late. He grabbed a piece of your bread first. Soft. Golden. Still warm. He tore it openâSteam puffed out. He took a bite and froze. ââŚ?â Everyone went still. Thenâ âTHIS IS AMAZING!!!â
   Chaos.
Nami immediately grabbed one for herself. The bread practically melted apart in her hands, impossibly soft, butter seeping into every layer. She took a biteâAnd her expression changed. Not just impressed. Something softer. ââŚWhy does this taste likeâŚâ She trailed off, blinking. Zoro frowned, grabbing a bowl of your stew. Slow-braised. Rich. Deep. He took a bite. Then another. Then paused, staring down at it. ââŚThis is weird.â Usopp leaned over. âWeird how??â Zoro didnât look up. ââŚIt shouldnât be better.âÂ
   It was.
Every dish of yours hit differently. Not sharper. Not richer. Justâwarmer. Sanji didnât eat, not yet. He just watched. Watched the way everyone kept going back. The way they lingered on your food. ââŚHey,â he muttered. ââŚWhat did you do?â You shrugged, smiling. âNothing special.â That made it worse.
âDESSERT!â Luffy yelled. Sanji moved first this time. His spread was flawless; glossy fruit tarts, each slice arranged like art, perfectly smooth macarons in soft pastel colours, a chocolate soufflĂŠ that rose just right. Nami took a bite of the tart and practically melted. âThis is perfectâŚâ Usopp tried a macaron. âI can see my ancestorsââ Even Zoro nodded slightly. ââŚYeah. Thatâs good.â Sanji smirked again, confidence fully restored. âObviously.â ThenâYou set yours down.
No dramatic presentation. Just simple plates. Soft cinnamon rolls dripping with icing, a warm chocolate cake, the center just barely holding together, light pastries that looked almost too delicate to touch. âGo ahead,â you said. Luffy didnât hesitate. He grabbed the chocolate cake and shoved a bite into his mouth. And immediatelyâStarted crying. âITâS SO GOODâ!!â Everyone froze. ââŚWhat?â Nami whispered. Then she tried the cinnamon roll.
Warm, sweet, soft in a way that felt impossible. Her eyes widened. Then watered. ââŚWhy am I emotional??â Usopp bit into one of the pastries. It dissolved instantly. Light, gone in secondsâBut the taste stayed. He dropped to his knees. âIâVE SEEN GODââ Zoro stared at his plate again. Silent. Processing. ââŚThis is stupid.âÂ
Sanji finally moved. He picked up a piece of the cake. Examined it. Perfect texture. Perfect bake. He took a bite. Paused. And for the first time all dayâ He had no words. ââŚWhat.â
âMORE!â Luffy shouted, already grabbing another. Everyone lunged at once. Plates emptied instantly. Hands scramblingâ âHEY, SAVE SOMEâ!â Too late. A blur shot across the deck. âCHOPPERâ?!â Usopp yelled. Chopper had already transformedâBigger., faster, arms completely full of your desserts. âIâM NOT SHARING!!â he yelled, bolting across the ship. âGET BACK HERE!!â Luffy screamed, chasing him. âTHATâS NOT FAIR!!â Usopp cried, running after them. Nami tried to grab one last rollâmissedâand immediately joined the chase. Zoro just sighed and followed. ââŚUnbelievable.â
The kitchen was wrecked. The deck was worse. Sanji stood there, staring at the empty plates. Then at you. ââŚYou cheated.â You laughed. âI didnât.â He stepped closer, eyes narrowedâbut not angry. Not really. ââŚTeach me.â You blinked. ââŚWhat?âÂ
   âI donât lose twice.â
A pause. Then, quieterâ ââŚAnd I want to understand.â You smiled, soft. ââŚFine.â His shoulders relaxed just slightly. âBut Iâm winning next time,â he added quickly. You grinned. âSure you are.âÂ
Across the shipâ âCHOPPER STOP RUNNINGâ!!â
   âNEVER!!â
Sanji sighed, running a hand through his hair. ââŚWeâre making more, arenât we?â You laughed. âDefinitely.â

Static Devotion
Robin x Reader
The first time you shocked someone for disrespecting Robin, it was⌠accidental. Mostly. ââcreepy woman,â the man had muttered under his breath. You had been walking a step behind her. You heard it. Of course you did. There had been a pause, a flicker in the air. A sharp, biting crackâAnd suddenly the man was on the ground, twitching, smoke curling faintly from his sleeve. Silence followed. Heavy, thick. Robin turned her head slightly. ââŚWas that necessary?â You tilted your head, considering. ââŚYes.â She stared at you for a moment longer. Then, quietlyâ ââŚI see.â She didnât tell you to stop.Â
After that, it became⌠a habit. A man who grabbed her writs too tightly? He yelped and dropped instantly. A group whispering too loudly about "demons" and "curses"? A sudden jolt sent them scrambling. A Marine who smirked like he knew something? He didn't smirk for long. The crew noticed, of course. âHey,â Usopp whispered one afternoon, watching you casually flick your fingers as a low current danced between them. âIsnât that a bit⌠extreme?â You shrugged. âThey started it.â From across the deck, Nami didnât even look up. âAs long as it doesnât cost us money, I donât care.â Robin said nothing. But she watched you.
There was a line. You just hadnât crossed it...yet. The island had felt wrong from the start. Too quiet. Too watchful. Robin had insisted on going alone. You had insisted harder. âYou donât need toââ
   âI do.â
She had paused. Then allowed it. That had been your first clue.
You werenât there when it happened. That was the problem. By the time you found herâIt was already over. The men were still there. Laughing, talking. Like nothing had happened. And RobinâShe stood still. Too still. Her expression was composed. Perfect. Untouched. But her handsâThey were trembling. Just slightly. Something in your chest snapped. ââŚWhat did they do?â She didnât answer. That was enough.Â
You moved before they noticed. Before anyone could stop you. Lightning didnât always come from the sky. SometimesâIt came from you. The first man dropped instantly. No warning. No mercy. The second tried to run. He didnât get far. The air filled with the sharp, violent crack of electricity, snapping and coiling like something alive. âW-waitâ!â You didnât. Because this wasnât about disrespect anymore. This was about her.Â
âStop.â Her voice cut through everything. You froze, electricity still dancing across your skin, breathing uneven, vision sharp with something dangerous. Robin stood behind you, closer than before. ââŚThatâs enough.â You didnât turn around. ââŚThey hurt you.â A pause. ââŚYes.â The word hit harder than anything else. Your fingers twitched. The current surged again. âI can fix that.â The words slipped out before you could stop them. Low, quiet, terrifyingly sincere. âI can make them pay.â
Silence fell. Even the men had stopped moving. Too afraid. Too aware. Robin stepped closer until she was just behind you. ââŚLook at me.â You hesitated, then turned. Her expression wasnât afraid. Wasnât angry. It was something far more dangerous. Understanding. ââŚDo you know why I didnât stop them sooner?â You frowned. ââŚNo.â Her gaze softened, just slightly. âBecause Iâve lived through worse.â Your chest tightened. âThey didnât matter,â she continued. âThey were⌠insignificant.âÂ
Your hands clenched. ââŚTheyâre still breathing.â That earned the faintest hint of a smile. Not amused. Not quite. ââŚYes,â she said softly. âThey are.â A pause. Thenâ ââŚBut I understand the urge.â That made you still. Completely. Robin stepped closer. Close enough that you could feel her breath. âThere was a time,â she murmured, âwhen I would have done the same.â Your voice dropped. ââŚWould have?â Her eyes held yours. Dark. Deep. Endless. ââŚIf I trusted myself to stop.â
The electricity faded slowly. Reluctantly. Your breathing steadied as your hands lowered. The men didnât move, didnât dare. You looked at Robin. ââŚWhat do you want me to do?â Not what should I do. Not whatâs right. What she wanted. Her gaze lingered on you. Studying. Measuring. Thenâ ââŚLet them go.â It wasnât weakness. It wasnât mercy. It was control. You exhaled slowly. ââŚOkay.â
You didnât speak on the way back. Neither did she. But she stayed close. Closer than usual. Later, on the deck, the others pretended not to notice the tension. The silence, the way your fingers still twitched faintly with residual current. Robin approached you quietly. As always. âYou listened.â You glanced at her. ââŚI always will.â She studied you. Then, gentlyâShe reached for your hand. Electricity flickered instinctively. Then softened. Then stilled. ââŚDangerous,â she murmured. You huffed lightly. âYou knew that already.â Her lips curved slightly. âYes,â she said. A pause. Then, softerâ ââŚThatâs why I trust you.â
After that, nothing really changed. And everything did. You still shocked people...just a little. You still watched her. Always. But now? She let you see more. Not everything. Not all at once. But enough. Enough to know that the darkness in her past-The quiet, buried rageâIt didnât scare you. It called to you. And maybe that was the most dangerous thing of all. Because this timeâIf someone hurt her againâYou werenât sure you would stop.
Let me Sanji cook.
What if a Nico Robin and reader who is an incredibly lucky archivist (Nami uses them for wealth purposes), and every time they dock to an island this one keeps coming back with loads of concerningly historical artificats.
Yeah, this one's going to be sooo targeted by the government. However, it complements her archaelogist curiosity and satisfaction!

Fortune Favours the Forbidden
Robin x Reader
You donât mean to find things. Thatâs the part no one believes. âFound something!â you call cheerfully, jogging back toward the Thousand Sunny, arms full of glittering debris and something that definitely looks older than it should be. From the deck, Nami squints at you. ââŚHow much is it worth?â You grin. âA lot?â Sheâs off the railing in seconds. It becomes routine. Island after island. You wander off for "a bit of fresh air", you come back with artifacts. Nami nearly basses out from excitement while Robin simply watches. Because itâs not normal. Not the frequency. Not the type.
âYou didnât dig for this,â Robin says one evening, turning a delicate, age-worn relic in her hands. You shake your head, lounging against the table. âNope. It was just⌠there.â You nodded toward the relic. âIt was buried beneath two meters of compact stone.â Robin gave you a knowing look. You shrug. âI tripped?â Robin hums, not convinced.
Robin starts accompanying you. At first, she doesnât say why. âI enjoy walking,â she tells you with a small smile. You beam. âMe too! This is great.â It doesnât take long until you veer off a path for no reason. You pause, tilting your head. ââŚThis way.â Robin follows, of course. The wall looks solid. Ancient. Worn. Unremarkable. You lean against it casually, and then it collapses. Dust fills the air. Stone crumbles. And behind itâA chamber. Untouched. Silent. Waiting. Robin doesnât speak at first. She steps past you slowly, reverently, eyes scanning carvings that havenât seen light in centuries.
ââŚThis architectureâŚâ Her fingers hover over inscriptions. ââŚThis shouldnât exist here.â You blink. âIs that bad?â Robin glances back at you. Thereâs something different in her gaze now. Something sharper. ââŚYes.âÂ
You donât call yourself anything special. But Robin does. âArchivist,â she murmurs one night, watching you absentmindedly flip a coin thatâs older than most kingdoms. You snort. âThat sounds way too important.â âItâs accurate.â You donât collect for wealth. Thatâs Nami's job. You donât collect for knowledge. Thatâs Robin's. You justâŚFind things. Preserve them. Hold them. Like they belong with you. Robin notices how careful you are. Despite your clumsy luck, your hands are gentle. Reverent. You never damage anything. Never lose anything. Never treat history like itâs disposable. Thatâs what unsettles her. Because history seems to trust you.
The artifact is small. Unassuming. You almost donât mention it. âHey, Robin?â you say, holding it up. âIs this⌠important?â She looks over at you and freezes. Her expression doesnât change much. It never does. But youâve learned to read her. And thisâThis is fear. ââŚWhere did you find that?â You hesitate. ââŚBy the river.â Robbin's gaze narrows. âThat area was excavated decades ago.â Your lips form a small o shape. âOh.â Silence stretches. Robin steps closer. ââŚDo you know what youâre holding?â You shake your head. Her voice lowers. âItâs a fragment of text⌠from the same era as Ohara.â You blink. ââŚThatâs bad, right?â Robinâs gaze softens, just slightly. âYes.â
It starts small. It always does. A Marine ship appears too soon after you leave an island. Then another. Then agents who donât wear uniforms at all. âTheyâre asking about artifacts,â Usopp whispers. âSpecific ones,â Sanji adds. Robin is quiet. Too quiet. Later, she finds you alone. Youâre turning that same fragment over in your hands, expression thoughtful. ââŚYou shouldnât carry that openly,â she says. You glance up. âOh. Sorry.â She kneels beside you, close, closer than usual. Her voice drops. ââŚYouâre being noticed.â You laugh nervously. âThat doesnât sound great.â
   âIt isnât.â
A pause. Thenâ ââŚYou donât have to keep finding things.â You frown. âIâm not trying to.â Robin believes you. Thatâs the problem.Â
The next island feels wrong. Even you can tell. The air is heavy. The town is quiet. Too quiet. âIâll just take a quick look,â you say. Robin grabs your wrist. You blink. Her grip isnât harsh, but itâs firm. ââŚNot alone.â You smile softly. âOkay.â The path leads you, of course. Down into ruins no one mentioned. Past warnings no one left. To a door that shouldnât exist. It opens easily for you. InsideâHistory. Not scattered. Not broken. Preserved. Waiting. Robin steps in slowly. Her breath catches. ââŚThis isâŚâ Her voice falters. ââŚimpossible.â
You step forward. And something clicks. Not physically or audibly. JustâSomething. Robin feels it too. Her eyes snap to you. ââŚWhat did you just do?â âI didnâtââ
   Footsteps. Above. Around. Too many.
âTheyâre here.â Robinâs voice is calm, controlled. But her hand finds yours instantly. Agents flood the ruins. Masked. Silent. Precise. âHand over the artifacts,â one of them says. âAnd the archivist.â You blink. ââŚThatâs me, huh?â Robin steps in front of you. âNo.â The temperature drops. Not literally, but it feels like it. âI will not allow it.â The agents move. Robin doesnât hesitate. Hands bloom from stone, from walls, from shadows. Limbs snap; bodies slam. The chamber erupts into chaos.
Youâve seen her fight before. But not like this. Not like sheâs protecting something fragile. Protecting you. âGo!â Robin snaps. You donât argue for once. You run. Through dust, through broken halls, through the sound of battle behind you. The ground trembles. The ruin groans. You stumbleâAnd your hand hits the wall. Something shifts. The entire structure begins to collapse. You freeze. ââŚOh no.âÂ
Robin finds you just before it gives way. Her breathing is uneven, her eyes sharp, searching you. ââŚAre you hurt?â You shake your head. Relief flashes across her face. Brief, but real. The ceiling cracks. Stone falls. Time runs out. You look at the chamber. At the history inside. At everything that could be lost. Then at Robin. ââŚWe have to go.â You donât reach for the artifacts. For once, you let them go. Robin sees it and understands. And something in her expression changes. Softens. She takes your hand.
The Sunny sails before dawn. No one celebrates this time. The artifacts you didnât bring back weigh heavier than the ones you did. You sit alone at the railing. Quiet. Robin joins you. ââŚYou made a choice,â she says. You shrug weakly. âDidnât feel like much of one.â
   âIt was.â
Silence. Thenâ ââŚTheyâll keep coming, wonât they?â Robin doesnât lie. âYes.â You nod slowly. ââŚSorry.â That makes her pause. ââŚFor what?â You gesture vaguely. âAll of this. The trouble. The attention.â Robin studies you, really studies you. Then, gentlyâ She reaches out and takes your hand. âYou didnât choose this.â Her grip tightens slightly. Warm and certain. âBut you donât have to face it alone.â You glance at her. ââŚYou sure?â Robin smiles. Soft, fierce, unshakable. âIâve faced worse.â A beat. Then, quieterâ ââŚAnd I would face it again.â
The next island is peaceful. Too peaceful. You hesitate at the shore. Robin notices. ââŚAre you going to explore?â she asks. You think about it. About ruins, about danger, about being hunted. Then you smile. A little nervous. A little excited. ââŚOnly if you come with me.â Robin offers her arm. Elegant a steady. âAlways.â And somewhere, buried deep beneath the worldâHistory waits. Not forgotten. Not lost. Just waiting for you to find it again.Â

I've had three different comments on Ao3 where the commenter would compliment my work very detailed like a critic, then offer their services as an artist to either draw the characters, make a comic panel, or draw cover art for a book and the first time i caved and gave them my "burner" insta just In case and the person told me i had to pay for the art as if they didn't offer it themselves and idk why i keep getting these comments on Ao3 but it's getting increasingly annoying to check my phone at work and get these emails for it. Then you have the spam comments on tumblr that are so obviously spam that it's honestly pitiful and no longer funny to troll. I cannot win.
Update 3 hours later: my god there's another one...
Heyaaa! How about a Nico Robin x Reader where Reader is a childhood sweetheart and another survivor of Ohara involved with the Revolutionary Army, but for some reason does not remember Robin either? Angst with a bittersweet yet hopeful ending!

If You Ever Remember Me
Robin x Reader
Robin had spent most of her life learning how to lose people. It was a skill she never wanted, but one she perfected anyway. Ohara had taught her that. The fire. The smoke. The screams swallowed by the sea. And afterward? Silence. So when she saw you again; alive, breathing, standing under the same skyâShe didnât believe it. At first, she thought you were just another stranger. Someone passing through. Another face in a world that never stopped moving. But thenâYou laughed. And something inside her broke open. ââŚThatâs not possible,â she murmured. Because she knew that laugh. She had memorized it, long before the world ended.
You noticed her staring. âSomething on my face?â you asked, tilting your head slightly. The question was light, casual, yet unfamiliar. Robinâs breath caught. ââŚDo you not recognize me?â There was a pause. You looked at her properly then. Studied her carefully. ââŚShould I?â The words landed harder than any blade. Robin didnât move, didnât speak. Because suddenlyâShe didnât know how. You had been there. Before everything. Before the destruction. Before the fear. Back when Robin was still allowed to be a child.
You were the one who stayed beside her when others wouldnât. Who listened when she spoke about history, about dreams no one else cared about. âTell me something interesting,â you used to say, lying in the grass beside her. And she always did. You never got bored. Never walked away. You stayed. Until the day you didnât.
âIâm sorry,â you said now, a small crease forming between your brows. âI donât think weâve met.â Robin forced her expression to remain calm. ââŚNo,â she said quietly. ââŚI suppose we havenât.â It should have been easier. She had lost people before. But this? This was different. Because you werenât gone. You were right there. And you didnât remember her at all.
Later, she learned the truth. Fragments, passed through quiet conversations and careful questions. You had survived, barely. Pulled from the wreckage of Ohara by forces that had no interest in historyâOnly potential. The Revolutionary Army had taken you in. Raised you. Trained you. ââŚThey said I had a past,â you told her once, sitting beside the fire. âBut it wasnât⌠safe to remember.â Robin listened in silence. âThey tried,â you continued. âBut every time something surfaced, it just...hurt.â You let out a small laugh. âSo I stopped trying.â That made sense. Too much sense. Ohara wasnât something you remembered. It was something you survived.
Robin began to notice the little things. The way you tilted your head when thinking. The rhythm of your footsteps. The way your voice softened when you spoke about things that mattered. You were still you. Just⌠missing pieces. The pieces that connected you to her.
âYou watch me a lot,â you said one evening. Robin didnât deny it. ââŚDo I?â You nodded once, âYeah.â You smiled faintly. âNot in a creepy way. Just⌠like youâre trying to remember something.â Robinâs gaze softened. ââŚPerhaps I am.â There was a pause. ââŚDid we know each other?â you asked. There it was. The question she had been waiting for. Dreading. Robin hesitated. She could tell you, she could say everything. Ohara. The past. What you meant to her. And yet...Â
ââŚNo,â she said. The lie came easier than it should have. ââŚI donât believe we did.â You nodded slowly. ââŚHuh.â A small silence followed. ââŚThatâs weird,â you added. Robinâs chest tightened. ââŚWeird?â You gave a small nod. âYeah.â You glanced at her, something thoughtful in your expression. ââŚBecause it feels like we should have.â That was worse.
Time passed. Not enough. Never enough. But long enough for something to grow between you again. Not the same, but not entirely different either. You gravitated toward her without knowing why. Sitting beside her during quiet moments. Asking questions about history. ListeningâJust like before.Â
âYou always explain things like that?â you asked once. ââŚLike what?â You shrugged. âLike they matter.â Robin paused. ââŚThey do.â You smiled. ââŚYeah.â You took a moment to steal a glance at her. ââŚI think I like that about you.â Her breath caught. ââŚI think you always did.â The words slipped out. You blinked. ââŚWhat?â Robin shook her head lightly. ââŚNothing.â
The first crack came unexpectedly. You found her reading, as you often did. âWhatâs that?â you asked. ââŚA record,â she replied. âRecovered from an island long gone.â You leaned closer. ââŚOhara,â you read aloud, and froze. Something flickered behind your eyes. Robin stood immediately. ââŚAre you alright?â You staggered slightly, hand pressing against your temple. ââŚIââ Fragments. Fire. Smoke. A voice. âTell me something interesting.â You gasped. ââŚRobin?â Her heart stopped. ââŚYes.â You looked at herâReally looked this time. Recognition, fear, confusion. All at once. ThenâIt slipped. Gone.Â
ââŚSorry,â you muttered, pulling back. ââŚThat was weird.â Robin didnât move. Didnât breathe. ââŚYeah,â she said softly. ââŚIt was.â
After that, things changed. Not drastically. But enough. You stayed closer. Looked at her longer. Like something in you was tryingâAnd failingâTo connect the pieces.
âI think I knew you,â you said one night. Robin didnât respond. âI donât remember it,â you continued. âButâŚâ You hesitated. ââŚI feel like I lost something important.â Silence. Robin closed her book. ââŚYou did.â Your breath hitched. ââŚWas it you?â The question hung there, fragile. Robin stepped closer. Slow and careful. ââŚYes.â You didnât react right away. Just stood there, processing. ââŚIâm sorry,â you said finally. Robinâs expression softened. ââŚIt wasnât your fault.âÂ
   âBut I should remember.â
ââŚNo,â she said gently. âYou shouldnât have had to survive that at all.â There was a pause. ââŚWill it come back?â you asked. Robin didnât lie this time. ââŚI donât know.â You nodded slowly. ââŚOkay.â Another pause. ââŚCan we⌠start over?â Robin blinked. ââŚStart over?â âYeah.â A small, uncertain smile. ââŚI think Iâd like to know you again.â Something fragile shifted in her chest. Not the past. But something new. ââŚI would like that as well.â
It wasnât the same. It would never be the same. But, when you sat beside her again, closer this time-When you asked her to tell you something interestingâWhen you listened, really listenedâRobin realized something. She hadnât just lost you once. She had been given another chance. Not to reclaim what was gone, but to build something new. And this timeâShe wouldnât let it slip away. Even if you never remembered. Even ifâ
   ââŚRobin?â you said softly. ââŚYes?â
   ââŚHave we met before?â
A pause. Robin smiled faintly. ââŚNot like this.â And maybe...that was enough.Â
Hello! Just wondering if you could write a gender neutral long fanfic of OPLA Nico Robin, where blind!reader's descended from a clan of people who could easily unlock foresight but sleeps often so they don't have to see a lot of futures aside from doing basic daily things despite the fact it is the only way they could actually "see" things - Hence why every time the crew is in an island or something they could easily predict stuff through dry humor with a monotone voice. Which could complement Robin's dark humor really well in the future, oh! Maybe you could also slip in the moment she first appeared to the crew to warn them about Little Garden. Reader's oddly unfazed, and is just incredibly sleepy (nickname sleepyhead, they were sleeping when Luffy recruited them because they could feel vibrations of the environment and could tell anything from afar? LOL!)
Reader's dilemma is basically, "Uh oh - she's here. Totally not someone bound to be in a relationship with me someday." Even Nami clocks them, "You're awfully awake for this one."
Maybe, Robin even inquires Vivi about them during Drum Island and she just goes. "I don't even know them well, but draws really well." Then it clicks to the latter, wait - Reader HAS drawn Miss All Sunday.
đď¸đđď¸â- it's giving soulmates in a way.
(Might come back for more for this once the future season comes around, hehehe)
đ
I am still very sleepy from yesterday, and I was thinking about my lunch that I want to make after I finished this...very tasty. Anyway, I added a scene where Robin shows up for a moment at Little Garden, for more Reader/Robin interactions
Things You Only See When You're Sleeping
Robin x Gen!Reader
They called you Sleepyhead before they ever learned your name. Mostly because that was how they found you, face-down on the deck, out of nowhere. Breathing slow and completely unbothered by the chaos happening around you. "Is...is this one alive?" Usopp asked. You didn't answer. Luffy crouched down beside you, grinning. "They're alive," he said like it was obvious. "They're just sleeping." Nami crossed her arms, snapping back. "In the middle of a storm?" You stirred, letting out a soft hum in response. "It passes in...seven minutes." Silence followed. "...What?" "Six now," you added. They didn't question it long enough, because the storm did pass. Exactly when you said it would. That was how you joined, not through introductions or promises, but by being right. Â
You didnât see the world, not in the way they did. No colors. No faces. No horizon stretching endlessly ahead. You felt it. The ship spoke constantly; wood creaking under pressure, ropes tightening, sails pulling against the wind. Each movement carried intention. Each vibration told a story. Footsteps were identities. Weight, rhythm, hesitationâYou knew who was approaching before they spoke. And when you slept...You saw everything. Not clearly or kindly, but you saw it. Possibilities unfolded in fragments. Conversations that hadnât happened yet. Battles that might. Faces you hadnât met. You learned early that seeing too much only made living harder. So you chose sleep. Carefully. Deliberately. You saw just enough to keep moving forward and ignored the rest.
You liked the crew. They were loud, predictable, safe all the same. Luffy moved like a storm that refused to break anything important. Zoro was steady, grounded, impossible to ignore. Usopp...vibrated with anxiety, yet a very subtle bravery he didn't even seem to notice in himself. Nami counted everything, keeping everyone in line and making sure they had what they needed to keep going. Sanji hovered near warmth and intention, always smelling like spices and freshly cooked meals. You knew them, even without seeing. Even without dreaming. But there were things you didn't tell them. Like how often their futures brushed against death. Or how many times they barely avoid it. How many versions of tomorrow ended differently. You kept those to yourself. It was kinder that way. But you did let them know about other things, like approaching people...sometimes.
The shift came before the voice. You stirred. Not fully awake, but aware. The air changed. Subtleâbut wrong. Someone new. Calm and dangerous. You pushed yourself up slowly, blinking though it did nothing for you. ââŚOh.â Across the deck, the crew had already tensed. âWho are you?!â Nami demanded. âIâm just passing through,â a smooth voice replied. You sighed. ââŚNo, youâre not.â Silence rippled outward. ââŚYouâre awake,â Nami said sharply. ââŚUnfortunately.â Your head tilted slightly toward the unfamiliar presence. You didnât need sight to feel her. Stillness, control, curiosity wrapped in something darker. ââŚThatâs her,â you murmured. A pause. âHer?â Usopp echoed.
ââŚYeah.â You rubbed at your face tiredly. ââŚSheâs going to be a problem.â The woman laughed softly. Not loud or forced, but interested. âAnd who might you be?â she asked. ââŚTired.â A beat passed. ââŚI see.â âNo, you donât,â you replied flatly. That earned another quiet laugh. You shifted, pulling your knees closer. ââŚYouâre going to sit on the railing,â you added. A pause, then the faintest creak of wood. ââŚAm I?â she asked, now closer. ââŚYou already did. Twice.â Silence followed. Not tense, but focused. ââŚHow curious,â she murmured. Nami stepped closer to you. âYouâre awfully awake for this one.â You sighed as you let your head fall. ââŚI hate this future.â Nami tilted her head slightly. âWhy?â You hesitated. Just slightly. ââŚBecause it doesnât go away.â
The womanâs attention sharpened. You felt it like a shift in pressure. ââŚWhat doesnât?â she asked. You exhaled slowly. ââŚYou.â Another pause, longer this time. ââŚBold,â she said. ââŚAccurate.â The conversation moved on after that. Warnings. Poses. Tension. You didnât care. You leaned back again, already slipping toward sleep. But just before she leftâââŚYouâre going to ask about me later,â you said. She paused. ââŚAm I?â ââŚYes.â ââŚTo whom?â ââŚVivi.â A beat passed. ââŚAnd what will she say?â You yawned softly before answering. ââŚThat I draw well.â Silence. ââŚThatâs all?â You shrugged in response. ââŚThatâs all she knows.â Robin hummed softly. ââŚI see.â You didnât correct her.
By the time she appeared againâYou were already awake, but not by choice. You had remained on the ship as the others explored the jungle, no doubt encountering the giants you had seen in your dreams. The sun warm on your face, the feeling of the breeze moving your clothes as it brought with it the scents of the flora. Except, there was a singular scent that was familiar. One you had sensed when you slept.Â
ââŚThis again,â you muttered. The jungle air was thick, alive with distant movement and unfamiliar sounds. But underneath itâThat same presence. âYou donât seem surprised,â she said. ââŚYou sit dramatically,â you replied. âItâs memorable.â Robin let out a soft exhale, almost a laugh. ââŚAnd youâre still tired.â You huffed, raising your head off the warm wood of the deck. ââŚChronic condition.â She stepped closer this time, careful and measured. âYou knew I would return.â You sighed, sitting up now. "...Yeah." âAnd yet you stayed.â You shrugged. ââŚDidnât feel like walking.â There was a pause before Robin spoke again. ââŚYouâre interesting,â she said. ââŚYouâre predictable.â You nodded in her direction. âAm I?â
You turned your body in her direction, crossing your legs and resting your chin in your hand. ââŚYouâre going to circle the conversation. Ask questions you already know the answers to.â Another pause. ââŚAnd will you answer them?â You thought for a moment, before shrugging again. ââŚDepends how tired I am.â Silence stretched, not uncomfortably, just⌠deliberate. ââŚHave you seen me before?â she asked quietly. You hesitated. ââŚNot like this.â Robin tilted her head slightly. âHow, then?â You shifted, fingers tightening slightly against your sleeve. ââŚFragments.â âOf what?â You exhaled. ââŚYou laughing at something you shouldnât.â A beat passed. ââŚThatâs not very specific.â You huffed at that. ââŚItâs enough.âÂ
Something changed then. Subtle, but real. Interest became something sharper. ââŚAnd what do you think of me?â she asked. You didnât answer immediately. ââŚI think,â you said slowly, âyouâre going to be difficult.â A pause. ââŚOnly for you?â You almost laughed at that. ââŚEspecially for me.â That earned a quieter laugh. Less amused, more⌠thoughtful. ââŚI look forward to it.â You groaned softly. ââŚThat makes one of us.â
The cold sharpened everything. Sound carried differently, footsteps crunched instead of thudded, breath lingered longer in the air. You sat near the edge of the village, sketchbook resting against your knees. Your pencil moved steadily, confidently. You didnât need to see. You remembered. ââŚYou draw a lot,â Vivi said, stepping closer. ââŚIt helps.â You spoke, continuing with you idle drawing. âWith what?â Vivi asked, kneeling beside you. ââŚOrganizing things I donât want to think about.â There was a pause. ââŚCan I see?â You hesitated, then turned the sketchbook slightly. Vivi froze. ââŚThatâsââ ââŚYeah.â Miss All Sunday. Every line precise. Every detail intentional. ââŚYouâve met her?â Vivi asked. ââŚNot properly, when she arrived after you joined, that was my first official meeting as well.â Vivi looked at you for a moment, as if trying to figure out how you knew, still not fully understanding exactly how you work. But you did. You had captured Robin perfectly on the page, all from the memory of your dreams. The curve of her expression, the stillness in her posture. Even the way she observed everything, even when she seemed relaxed.
Eventually, Vivi left, leaving you to continue your idle drawing. The wind blew snow into your face, the cold flakes telling you about their own stories with each passing moment. Unfortunately, their stories didn't last long, replaced with something akin to warnings.Â
You felt her before she spoke. That same stillness. That same quiet gravity. ââŚYouâre very talented.â You didnât startle. ââŚYouâre very quiet,â you replied. A sound signaling a soft step closer. ââŚMay I?â You handed the sketchbook over without argument. Silence followed, longer than before. ââŚYouâve never seen me,â she said. ââŚNot with my eyes.â You corrected her. ââŚThen how?â You leaned back slightly, already feeling the weight of staying awake too long. ââŚYou show up in inconvenient places.â You could hear the faint smile in her voice as she spoke. ââŚDo I?â You nodded. "...Yeah."
There was another pause. ââŚHow long have you known about me?â You didnât answer right away. ââŚLong enough to be disappointed in my life choices.â That made her laugh, really laugh this time. And you felt itâWarm, no longer dangerous. ââŚYouâre honest,â she said. ââŚIâm tired.â Robin shook her head with a smile. âThose arenât the same thing.â You huffed, pushing your lips together as if in disappointment. ââŚThey overlap.â Another pause. ââŚYouâre not afraid of me,â she observed. ââŚIâve seen worse.â Robin made a sound, either out of small disbelief or amusement. âWorse than me?â ââŚYeah.âÂ
A moment passed, filled with a soft silence. ââŚDo I survive?â she asked quietly. You stilled. That questionâYou hated that question. ââŚDo you want the answer?â you asked. ââŚYes.â You tilted your head slightly toward her. ââŚThen you shouldnât have asked.â Silence. Not tense or broken, but heavy. ââŚI think I understand,â she said at last. ââŚGood.â You reached for your sketchbook again, fingers brushing hers briefly. Just for a second, but it lingered. Not physically, but somewhere deeper. ââŚWeâll meet again,â she said. ââŚYeah.â You nodded. ââŚYou sound certain.â You turned your head to her, trying your best to convey what you meant. ââŚI donât have a choice.â A pause, interrupted by Robin's voice once again. ââŚNeither do I.â She began to step away, slowly.
"You were right, you know." she said over her shoulder. You raised an eyebrow, turning toward her voice. "About what?" "About me asking Vivi about the drawings." You let out a short laugh and shook your head. With that, she left. The air shifted. And for the first time since you met herâYou didnât immediately lie back down. You stayed sitting, listening, thinking. Because every future you had seenâEvery single oneâLed back to her. And for once, you werenât sure you wanted to sleep through it.
Being friends with Zoro was hard, speaking about feelings with him would be even harder, so you wonât do it. At least, you didnât plan to until you were exposed.

Quiet Cuts, Sharper Than Steel
OPLA!Zoro x Shy!Fem!Reader x Platonic!Chopper
Chopper had seen a lot of things; monsters, giants, talking skeletons. Zoro getting lost on a straight path. But this? This mightâve been the most confusing thing yet.
ââŚWhy does she win every time?â Chopper whispered. Because across the clearingâYou stood quietly, adjusting your grip. Calm, focused, almost⌠hesitant. And across from youâZoro cracked his neck, already grinning. âDonât go easy on me,â he said. You shook your head quickly. ââŚIâm not.â Chopper blinked. ââŚShe says that every time,â he muttered. âGood,â Zoro replied, clearly pleased. âThen maybe youâll actually land a hit this time.â Chopper opened his mouth. Closed it. Then leaned toward Nami nearby. ââŚShould we tell him?â
âNo,â Nami whispered back. âLet him learn.â
Zoro lunged first. Fast and precise. A clean, practiced strike aimed straight for your center. You didnât move. At least not at first. ThenâSomething flickered. A soft, violet glow sparked at your fingertips. Zoroâs blade stopped. Not by force or by impact. But by something unseen. ââŚHuh,â he muttered. The air shifted and suddenlyâYou were gone. Chopper gasped. âShe disappeared againâ!â No, not disappeared. Repositioned. Behind him. A sharp, clean pressure tapped lightly against Zoroâs shoulder. âPoint,â you said softly. Silence.
Zoro blinked as he looked down. Then over his shoulder. ââŚAgain?â he said. You lowered your hand quickly. ââŚSorry.â
âWhy are you apologizing??â Chopper cried. Zoro straightened slowly. Then grinned. âThat was better,â he said. Chopper stared at him. ââŚBETTER??â
The next round was faster. Harder. Zoro adjusted. Anticipated. Meanwhile, you adapted effortlessly. Every strike he made, you redirected. Not with strength. But with precision. Invisible forces bending his path just slightly. Just enough. It drove him insane.
âYouâre not even blocking,â he muttered, frustrated now. âI am,â you said quietly. He paused. ââŚNo, youâre not.â You hesitated. Then lifted your hand. The faint glow returned. ââŚOh.â Chopperâs eyes sparkled. âITâS LIKE AN INVISIBLE SWORDâ!"Â
âMore like ten,â you admitted softly. Zoro laughed. Actually laughed. Good,â he said, tightening his grip. âThen Iâll just have to cut all of them.âÂ
   He didnât.
Round after roundâYou won. Not dramatically or arrogantly. Just⌠consistently. And every time, you looked a little embarrassed about it. ââŚAre you sure sheâs Mihawkâs kid?â Chopper whispered. âAdopted,â Nami corrected. ââŚOh,â Chopper nodded. âThat makes sense.â
âIt really doesnât,â Zoro said, walking past them, already heading back. You perked up slightly. ââŚAgain?â He didnât even hesitate. âAgain.â
The sun dipped lower as the air cooled. Chopper sat on a rock, kicking his little feet as he watched, completely invested now. You moved differently as time went on. Less hesitant, more fluid. Still quiet, still soft. But confident. And Zoro? He adapted. Learned. Pushed harder. Not annoyed or frustrated. Focused. Because for the first time in a long time, someone was pushing him back. Even ifâ ââŚYouâre holding back,â he said suddenly. You froze. ââŚIâm not.â
   âYou are.â
Chopper leaned forward. ââŚOh no.â Zoro stepped closer. Not aggressive. Not threatening. Just⌠certain. âShow me.â You hesitated, your fingers tightening slightly. ââŚYou wonât like it.â Zoro smirked. âThatâs not your call.â A pause. Then, you exhaled. The air changed. Chopper felt it immediately, the shift, the pressure. Your glow sharpened, deepened. And this time, when Zoro moved, you didnât just block. You met him. Steel against...something sharper. A blade formed in your hand, not quite metal, pure violet energy. Zoroâs grin widened. ââŚThere it is.â
The clash rang louder this time. Cleaner and faster. For a moment, just a moment, he almost matched you. Almost. Then, you stepped in. Close. Too close. Your blade stopped just at his neck. Not touching, but undeniable. Silence. ââŚPoint,â you said softly.
Chopper exploded. âTHAT WAS SO COOLâ!!â Zoro laughed again, breath heavier now. âYeah,â he said. ââŚIt was.â You lowered your blade, the glow fading quickly. ââŚSorry,â you murmured. Zoro frowned slightly. âFor what?â
   ââŚWinning.â
He stared at you for a second. Then scoffed. âDonât apologize for being strong,â he said. ââŚJust donât expect me to lose forever.â Your eyes widened slightly. Then, a small smile. ââŚOkay.â From his rock, Chopper beamed. ââŚTheyâre gonna get married,â he whispered. âCHOPPERââ
And as the sun dipped below the horizon, Zoro picked up his swords again. ââŚOne more round.â You nodded. And for once, you didnât hesitate at all.Â
