Elements as PEOPLE?!? Yes Imagine Cells at Work, Hetalia, and Steven Universe fused with the concept of a basic highschool chemistry class.
Over the last few months I’ve been attempting to draw the entire periodic table as Hot sexy people getting up to shenanigans. Ever wonder why Nitrogen won’t bond with Oxygen in the atmosphere? How Oxides form? Why Fluorine is… well… why she’s like that? Now you can! Read a bit more about em down below!
Hydrogen (She/Her): The oldest elemental, this absentee elemental holds incredible amounts of star-like energy. Too bad most of her energy is devoted to oxygen…
Helium (They/Them): Frequent Partygoer, Helium can always be found where the party is. They enjoy this pastime with Beryllium!
Lithium (She/Her): constantly working, lithium attempts to hide her reactive and explosive side. This isn’t helped by the fact it’s fairly easy to startle and provoke her…
Beryllium (He/Him): Carefree and sweet, Beryllium consistently ditches whatever he’s doing to go slack off with Helium. This has caused him to be absent from many a compound… not that he cares about it.
Boron (She/Her): Gentle and calm, Boron holds immense strength and force within her. Owing to her incredible 9.3 Mohs rating, she’s tough as a rock and can hold her own in a scrap.
Carbon (Coal: She/Her, Diamond: He/Him): necessary for life itself, these two are constantly at odds with each other. While flawless and “perfect” Diamond’s rigid and inflexible nature makes it easy for cracks to show (both physically and mentally) while coals combustible and stubborn nature is… VERY apparent.
Nitrogen (She/Her): Formed from an incredibly strong triple bond, Nitrogen is actually two elementals who have stuck together almost as long as she’s been formed! While frigid and cold physically, Nitrogen is a sweetheart and cares a lot for life and the people around her.
Oxygen (She/Her): Oxygen is a FLIRT. Breathtaking, bold and very much has her head in the clouds, this shallow Elemental bonds with most elements she meets. This reputation has made her increasingly disliked among some of the metals, though she herself doesn’t seem to care…
Fluorine (She/Her): Sporadic, animalistic and violent, Fluorine’s imperfect 7 electron shell makes her prone to jumping at any chance to complete herself. This has made her a wildcard, incredibly hard to understand, and a walking natural disaster. While just… the worst, much of her behavior comes from her nature which… I guess makes it better?
i do not “delete sentences” when they start “hindering the plot” i COPY PASTE THEM into a SEPARATE DOC made just for keeping all my USELESS LINES that i will also NEVER USE so therefore i should JUST DELETE THEM but i DONT because id FEEL BAD if i did

The marks on As are a reference to the hyperpigmentation caused by arsenic poison. The wing-like fins are based on swans, with its colors both referencing cygnets and the black swan Odile in particular.
The green is based on Paris Green (kinda), the yellow is based on the yellow allotrope, and the blue is based on Agent Blue. Paris Green and Agent Blue both have arsenic in them, however Paris Green was used in commercial products while Agent Blue was a chemical weapon used by the United States during the Vietnam War.
The marks can be simplified if you want, however As should still be somewhat recognizable.
Okay that's enough of my ramblings. On another note, I will be away from June 7th to June 13th on account of poor cell service in the Summer Camp im going to.

Cadmium comforts Mercury after the betrayal of Sulphur. Mercury and Cadmium are very close in a way I can't clearly define as of now, but Cadmium will always be there for Mercury - she's one of the only elements who Mercury feels safe to be vulnerable around.

some concepts for how electrons vary in design depending on what element they're from. The colours are exclusively based on the element's flame test colour / emission spectrum (those are basically the same tbh) which is why some of them look weird. I was not able to find a picture of a phosphorus flame test demonstrating the green colour that these websites keep telling me about. but I'll keep it like that I guess
