thinking about the time in my mid-20s when i was at a festival with a friend and an extremely drunk man came over to try and dance with us. he kept grabbing at me and i kept shoving him away. he asked how old we were and my friend at the time told him we were 15. his response was elation. he excitedly told us that we were the same age as his daughter and that it felt like he was dancing with his daughter and her friends. he said if his wife knew she would kill him, he said he was a good dad and a family man "don't get me wrong". he then grabbed my chest and tried shoving his hand up my skirt twice. i pushed him back again and yelled over the music that we were in our 20s. he looked disgusted and finally left. my friend was angry with me because she was "just having fun"
i have no doubt that that guy went home to his wife and daughter who suspected nothing, and that his friends and family consider him to be a caring father
i say this because, as a victim of abuse, this is the exact shit i have had to put up with. it couldn't be that the "nice guy" is actually a deranged, abusive, perverted sack of shit. it must be that the girl or the woman is craaaaaaazy and lying for no reason!
a friend of mine was molested by her father when she was 8 and to this day nobody in her family believes her. he got away with it completely
this is the kind of image where i'm like "oh that's a cute outfit. it looks comfy too. i could wear that" and then i remember that i am a >30 year old tired person who does not look like a model and that i would in fact look like i'd got dressed in the dark
