Like, yes obviously there is a fucking issue here, where porn of trans women is much more popular than magazines about trans women's culture and where said porn advertises itself with slurs on top of that. The issue however is not a search engine doing what a search engine is made to do: assume you want to see the most popular result and might wanne use a search term the data suggests is more fitting for that popular result. Be mad at the porn industry and it's fetishistic marketing, at chasers and transphobes, the people responsible for the issue, not at a search engine that doesn't automatically hide porn unless you type in the exact url or the word porn (what you have to do on google to find these results). Yes, there is fucked up shit on the internet, but I kinda prefer a search engine that shows me that stuff when I put in relevant terms, instead of being as advertiser friendly as possible and only showing some things as a last resort. I know google doesn't put up those results, but it's not because anyone there gives a shit about trans people, it's because advertisers don't like porn.
