Pendra, having managed to slurp a few sprinkling streams to refresh herself, turned upon hearing a familiar Pokemon call. The Scolipede gave a happy little doot, before politely moving a bit to offer Dastan ample space. They were a smaller sized Pokemon and Pendra was very big- so she would be polite!

However, seeing the Lucario, who was specifically not-Lulu, suddenly dunk into the fountain's lower pool, intrigued Pendra. Oh-- a pond?! Daedra had just gotten herself settled on the bench when she noticed Pendra reaching one of her legs daintily into the fountain-- "No-no, Pendra," the redhead called out, sounding more maternal than strictly authoritative. "-the fountain's not big enough! Just little drinks, okay?" Immediately, the bug type trumpeted a reply and obediently moved back, but still very happy and content. With that taken care of, Daedra turned back to Kianga, offering a sheepish smile in apology for the interruption.

"I do! Her name's Lulu," Daedra explained, nodding happily as her one hand instinctively touched the top of a particular white ball on her belt. "I'd bring her out, but I promised to give her a rest for a bit," the redhead went on to explain. "Busy places like this can overwhelm her a bit with all the aura and emotions, but I'll call her own to meet you soon! She was my first Pokemon," Daedra proudly stated. "I got her as a Riolu when she hatched, and Pendra as a Venipede shortly after! We've been together since we were all really little! I take it you met Dastan recently? Or, I suppose not when you were very young."

Amusement lit his features at the scene with the Pokemon came into play, but her question brought him out of it. "Lulu, huh? That's cute." He wondered if perhaps adding a second friend to his roster could be something in the future... but for now, it wasn't something he was eager to do. If it happened, it happened, if not... well, that was okay too.

"I met him when he was a young Riolu. He probably had just left his parents." He recalls the moment fairly clearly; "I was travelling through some rough terrain and I happened upon him. After I shared lunch with him, I left the area. A few days later, he approached me and that was kind of that." A light shrug. "I thought he'd leave after a few towns, but he's been adamant about being by my side specifically."

Donovan nods a greeting at the group, taking a sip of his coffee, taking a look at the coordinates from earlier. “Hmmm…” Taking a moment to look at his map, then the coordinates again, he speaks up. “At our current speed, we’ll most likely be there in about two hours and….” He checks his watch. “And 45 minutes. Maybe three, give or take the waves agree with us.” He increases their speed a bit, before setting the yacht on autopilot for the moment. “When we get there, here’s what I suggest we do. Mewtwo and I will go down there, not completely, just to scout the area. Then we take the rest of the day to come up with plans and backups just in case things go south.” He folds his arms across his chest, thinking deeply. “I don’t want to seem overly cautious, but I want to be thorough about this.” Ronin stands behind the group, causally sipping on some of the tea he made a bit ago. “We don’t know what’s going to be down there, but I would rather I check it out first, rather than let you two go check. Mewtwo can actually resist an incredible amount of pressure while underwater, and I got a few ‘tricks’ up my sleeve.” He makes a small glance to Friede, but then focuses on Ashe. “Is that fine with you guys?”

Ashe and Friede both listen. Ashe's reaction is one of an impatient girl eager to see their parent again, but she's kept in check by her Sylveon's ribbon on her arm. Friede is a bit more level-headed about this and nods. "That sounds good to me." He notes Ashe chomping at the bit and while he attempts to reach a hand over, she shies away from it. He's a bit hurt by this, but whatever emotions he has towards it, he lets it be filed away for now.

Instead, he gently reminds her; "If we go rushing into this it could not just be bad for us, but possibly for her too." This brings Ashe back to reality and she gives him a look of hurt but understanding, nodding a fraction. Turning her attention to Donovan and Mewtwo, she sighs softly. "-- Yeah. That's fine with me." Although she looks a bit troubled by something; "Do we have enough water-types between the four of us?" Friede had Starmie and Ashe was sure Donovan had brought more than just Ronin.

She's over the moon and has been on radio silent for the past two days, spending time with Friede. Luckily for her, Morgan has kept the kids busy by taking them to visit Donovan and his family. As for her and Friede, um... well, they haven't been seen out of the house.

"It's all right! I just offered you the truth, and it's not like I can change anything of it," Daedra offered with a sad sort of smile. Not so much that the subject bothered her, but simply that the air about it always turned dreary. "It really doesn't bother me these days," she casually added with a gentle sway of her wrist. While it had been different in her childhood, Daedra found there was simply no point to even ponder the subject. Not when she had other things to focus on, like where she was going and her Pokemon's needs. It was easy to distract yourself with the needs of others~ Once again, his question surprised her a bit, and Daedra stopped her casual pace to turn to him again. "I usually check the PokeMarts for sales when I can," the redhead explained happily. "Even if I don't need something specifically, you'd be surprised when a good deal comes your way!" Clearly, she was a very practical person~

"We can sit, if you like," she offered all the same. "-I rarely rush around these days. Plus it's just nice to actually get to see all the 'beautification' everyone likes to boast about here in Kalos." In this time, Pendra had also gotten a bit 'sidetracked. Daedra had caught the large bug Pokemon from the corner of her eye, going to one of the decorative fountains in the little sitting space. The Scolipede was keeping herself occupied by trying to reach with her neck and spindly little tongue to catch the little sprays of water, compared to just going down to the pool.

The water clearly tasted better from the squirty places; obviously.

Kianga nods and moves to take a seat at the bench nearby, leaning back in a more casual way for the moment. He notes how Dastan heads off to join Pendra, bworfing and staring at the pool of water before them. Was it really that good? He's just going to dunk his whole head in the process, leaving Kianga with an amused look on his features. "Oh dear."

For the first time in Maya's life, she looks away from her food, blushing at the Lucario beside her and hiding her face behind her hands. Friends! It was true! He called her his friend! Maya barely ever made any friends! He would show her his secret spots! Imaging the two sharing sweets alone in a special hideout, she slaps her hand down on the table and buries her face in her arm, looking away while he enjoys his food. As she does so, her extra mouth gobbles up the strawberry crepe, and she looks up in shock. No! She wanted to taste that!!!

Jaw dropped, Furuka watches this exchange, having never once seen her partner willingly turn away from food. Oh, to understand even an OUNCE of what the two pokemon may be talking about. "U-Um, Kianga-san," she starts, having not touched her own food either, "your Lucario. Maya is seeming to get along very well with him. Naze- Why does he wish to grow stronger here, in Kalos?" He had mentioned it earlier, almost like the Lucario was the one bringing his trainer along on it's own journey, rather than the other way around.

Kianga has a look on his face that speaks of extreme amusement at this situation between the Mawile and the Lucario. He looks to Furuka upon her asking and that amusement becomes a bit of a furrowed brow as he thinks how to answer her question;

"That's a question I've posed to him before but it's one that he's not answered." He explains. "Whatever it is is ingrained in him from his past. That's about all I can say." The Lucario heard everything Kianga had said but deigned to ignore it in favor of bworfing in response to Maya and offering her the rest of his sweet treat.

"Ahh, yeah," she replies, thinking of all the ghosts back at home, and the entourage Blake was sure to amass. It's not that she didn't like ghost types, per se, but... her mother's milky eyes flash in her mind for a moment before she banishes the thought. Nope. Normal girl. Normal, boring, plain old university girl. Nothing weird or strange to make fun of, or bully, or freak out about. Just normalcy.

The sibling's argument snaps her back to the present, two pokemon duking it out on the field as students chant the name of the trainer they were rooting for. So, Penny and Keiran, huh? She figured Penny was from naranja-uva, considering Milo had recognized the boy opponent. The girl seemed to really like the eevee evolutions... like, a lot. "Oh," Ama laughs, listening to Willow pout. "I was actually asking Willow- I think I'm pretty strong!" she replies, feeling almost offended that the children didn't think she could lift a pretty skinny looking eight year old. Hell, maybe she could lift Milo, too, if she really put her back into it... but eh... nah, Arceus forbid she did accidentally drop one of them and their mom had a fit. Moms could be scary. She would know.

"I'm okay. Thank you!" Willow chirps, her attention now on the battle as well. The exchange of blows has the sibling's attention for a bit for some time until finally one of the Pokemon goes down. Willow looks to Milo then; "Did you want to say hi to your friend?" "Huh? Oh... he's not really a friend. I just see him at school." Milo corrects her. "Oh... Okay then." Willow doesn't let it bother her for too long, instead looking to Amaryllis.

“Got’cha. If you boys need anything, there’s a phone in the kitchen that you can use to either call me, or the other lodges. The numbers are on the fridge.” With that, she climbs onto her Charizard, and takes off. “I gotta go patrol now, enjoy your stay here!” Shenron ruffles Donnies hair, before taking flight to join the other Charizard. Donnie fixes his hair with a smirk, and shrugs to Friede. “Sounds fine to me. I can make lunch, if you’re feeling hungry.”

"All good. I ate before we came here." He waves to Liz before she departs, soon turning his attention to the cabin. Going to have a seat inside, the man isn't tired, but definitely could do with a rest for a moment. He takes the time to open up his RotomPhone and go over any text messages he's missed from the Rising Volt-Tacklers or Ashe and the kids.

“Hm.” He glances towards the bridge, spotting Donovan at the helm, while sipping from a thermos of coffee. “I’ve come to realize that thinking with one’s mind is different from thinking with one’s heart. Donovan is the latter, despite his profession as an Archeologist….and Sorcerer. Donovan always listens to his heart when it comes to important matters, and he ends up being right a good chunk of the time. Something Jawbreaker has told me is that’s how he always was.” “Perhaps your mother would find it odd. You’ve had an interesting life.” He really couldn’t talk about being loved by a mother, considering he killed his creators. He listens to her history, finding it both fascinating and curious. Morgan never mentioned something like this before, but then again it wasn’t something they would’ve asked about. “From what Donovan and Professor Xavier have told me, that’s usually the age range most Mutants awaken their abilities. I have my own theories about Donovan specifically, but that can be saved for another time.” He smiles. “Don’t apologize, it was something you seemed to want to get off your chest.” He goes stiff for a moment, as he feels the same sensation as before. Looking out to the ocean, Mewtwo narrows his eyes as he thinks to himself. “…..Excuse me for a moment.” He teleports to the bridge. “We’re getting close. The sensation I felt before has returned. Keep heading in this direction for a bit longer.” The man nods as Mewtwo returns to Ashe and Friede. “Apologies. The sensation I felt before has returned.” He focuses on this feeling, sounding like a heartbeat in his head and sits in a meditative stance.

From what she had been told about Mewtwo's past, he had been angry and mistreated, and yet his Pokemon was a far cry from it now. She was thankful to him for just listening and accepting rather then judging her for it. Pokemon were amazing like that, weren't they?

She nods and watches as he disappears, turning her attention to Friede, taking a small bite of her sandwich. He notes her expression of thanks and he offers a smile. Mewtwo saying that the sensation had been felt again had their attention and now giving the Legendary a wide berth to do as he needed, the two return with Lucky to where Donovan is.
