Hello my Tumblr friends… I doubt anyone noticed I was gone since I haven’t been active for ages here. Last time I posted something was back in Sept 2016 when I was still crazy for Sam Riley. In case a couple of you are wondering what I’ve been up to since then, well, I’ve finally produced my short film based on a script I finished a year ago.
As a huge fan of Jane Austen, my story is partly inspired by Persuasion, my favorite of her novels. The short film is born out of a reading with local talents of my feature script back in January 2017 (yep just 6 months ago!) Since then things had been moving at lightning speed, as you can see in the video above. We shot the film back in April and right now the project is in post-production.
My husband & I launched a crowdfunding campaign to help with the cost. We’re now in the home stretch! We’ve got less than 63 hours to go in the campaign at the time I’m posting this. If you wouldn’t mind helping a girl out by spreading the word about this, I’d be immensely grateful!! If you’re curious about my project, feel free to send me a message.
