Do you know about Spy × Family? I find its approach to talking about war and way of mixing lighter and heavier topics somewhat similar to how you handle Lotta Svärd.
Sure, I'm aware of the series but I haven't watched or read it myself. Mixing heavier topics with light jokes and nice art style is what I'm all in for, so I might give it a look because of your recommendation.
