I think that the best friendship moment was when they were all graduating. Having them bonding, tearing up, grinning like idiots and hugging was one of the best friendship moments of the entire show. This was the only normal scene they’ve had and it was flawless. Everything felt normal. They were just seniors who were graduating and were looking forward to next year when they were going to college. Despite all the ghosts that were walking among them that day, they still managed to graduate and be happy even for a moment. And Elena with her tough transition as a vampire and her emotionless state, she needed that. She needed to feel like an actual senior whose only worries were college and her friends.
