His eyes smiled. âLook, for some reason, a certain someoneâs homepage Iâm trying to access is locked off. Itâll probably take me a long time to deleâ avoid the security.â he muttered. He moved the pad in front of him and crossed his arms. âThink you could break off the firewalls? Might as well ask, right?â
Ď â ; âIt depends on whoâs firewall you want me to break.â
He was good at hacking, sure, but it wasnât like he was going to blindly hack into someoneâs system, to let someone with ahem, âmaliciousâ intent in. Itmight have been someone he knew. Then heâd be in trouble.Â
If it happens to be Magnetman, though, heâs your guy.
He peered at him for a few seconds and back to the cluster of what seemed like gibberish. âFair enough. Donât want the NetPolice on your tail, do you?â
Flash let out a stifled sigh, â Itâs no one important. A citizen like any other. Besides, Iâm not planning to hurt them. Just, ah, look around.â
If Elec were to refuse.. It would only mean more time-wasting and aggravating deciphering. No big deal, right? Of course.
Ď â ; âThey wouldnât arrest me either way. No, I just donât want to be hacking someone I know and possibly like.â
That and he couldnât help but be curious, really. It would be nice to know whoâs homepage he was trying to open.
âIf itâs a citizen, then what business do you have trying to look around their homepage? They couldnât be like anyone else if they have something youâre interested inâŚâ
Wouldnât arrest him either way? Now that raised some stressful doubts. Either he was associated with them or he had committed an act so despicable⌠Neither of those felt plausible enough. Flash crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes. He hummed in thought, reluctant as ever. If he was going to get a helping hand, a faster one, mind you, he might as well comply.
âSaiko Rei. As I said, Iâm just looking around⌠See me as an inspector of sorts.â
Ď â ; Great. He didnât know the person. That was good. Heâs was alright with that.
âAlright, Iâll do it then, in that case.â
He could get nosy about who âSaiko Reiâ was later, but for now, he was just going to get to hacking- no further questions.
âRight.â
He couldâve said that his skills were rather impressive, but that would mean heâd have to push away his own vanity. No way, no how. Flash nodded a few times, however, as Elec broke through the firewalls, as if in agreement with each hack.
The security soon shut down, although only temporarily. He looked over to the smaller Navi and nodded once more. âThank you.â
Flashman gazed at a figure that felt somewhat familiar from afar, but he wasn't all that sure. He approached it cautiously and only muttered a question. "Who's there?" At least, he hoped it wouldn't be one of Rockman's pals.
His eyes smiled. âLook, for some reason, a certain someoneâs homepage Iâm trying to access is locked off. Itâll probably take me a long time to deleâ avoid the security.â he muttered. He sensed the Navi walk away and genuinely felt embarrassed that Elec would up and leave in such a manner. Rudest kid heâs ever met. Flashman didnât bother to turn around to stop him. Instead, one of the nearby lights burst into pixels, simply to get his attention.
âYou know, you could at least say something. I know Iâm not much, but hey,â he hummed,â an uppity brat like yourself might not care for manners.â
Immediately acting as if he had forgotten the insult, his hand gestured at him, enticing him to âcome overâ. âIf youâre up for it, give me a hand with this.â
Ď â ; He wasnât usually this rude- he just didnât think Flashman would care one way or another.Â
It didnât really matter, because his attention was immediately grabbed by that seemingly random âexplosionâ- causing him to turn back around.Â
âSorry. Didnât think youâd really care if I left.â
He wasnât going anywhere now, though. He was interested.Â
âWhat is it?â
His eyes smiled. "Look, for some reason, a certain someone's homepage I'm trying to access is locked off. It'll probably take me a long time to dele-- avoid the security." he muttered. He moved the pad in front of him and crossed his arms. "Think you could break off the firewalls? Might as well ask, right?"
Flash shrugged nonchalantly and let it be. All signs were pointing towards the reluctance to have him as company, but the kid didnât seem to read them. Now, he was an entertainer.
âSuit yourself. I hope you find some amusement in watching me.â
He then pulled out a data pad and ran through the paragraphs of logs. A long, tedious pause took the place of his voice.
Ď â ; Yeah it didnât look like he was going to be finding any sort of âamusementâ in just watching this guyâŚdo stuff.Â
Though he supposed he couldnât really put the blame on Flashman for being boring. Most people were boring these days, anyway.
The NetPolice would probably show up anyway- and though he knew that they had no interest in arresting him anymore (apparently he wasnât worthy of their time anymore) he liked to think he was. Let the kid have his fantasy.Â
So he just walked away- without a single word- a little bit rude, but he didnât really think Flashman would care anyway.Â

Flashmanâs eyes narrowed. An obvious display of distaste.
They were on a different page, after all. A peculiar point, however, was that Elecman kept bothering with him despite the intended offense.
âIâm generally bitter, so youâre no exception. Most people try to avoid it.. but youâre still here. Whyâs that?â
That remark would only annoy the other Navi even further. Surely.
âIf you wanted to hang out that bad, you couldâve just asked.â , all was said with an irritatingly amused tone.
Ď â ; He contemplated whether he should turn around at walk the other way- but he had a feeling that if he did, then heâd lose out on something.Â
âIâm here because Iâm bored and your the only other navi that sticks out in this place.â
But maybe he was starting to regret ever approaching this navi- he was so infuriatingâŚ

Flashman simply shrugged at the sarcastic praise he was given. He was used to seeing eyes roll. On the good side, it seemed that the electric tyke knew who he was, after all. It was relieving to cut out all those tedious presentations.

Ď â ; Thereâs really nothing more disheartening than floating at least five inches off the ground and still being too short to be on eye level with someone.
Extremely disheartening.
And of course, as soon as he was being spoken to, he realised a crucial fact: he hadâŚ
Ď â ; Wonderful. It had been what, three, maybe four minutes already, and by the looks of things, Elecman was already boring this guy. Or was he? It was certainly hard to tell what kind of expression he was attempting to make with just a pair of eyes.
"That one was bad, even by my standards. Congratulations."
So neither of them really fitted in with the scenery, but Elecman was just wandering around. Itâs not like it was the first time heâd ended up in such a place.
"Why is it such a surprise? Itâs not like Iâm such a celebrity. And I have not been following you all day! Five minutes at the most, and thatâs only because you caught my eye."
Well, who wouldnât? With a gaudy colour-scheme like that?
Flashman simply shrugged at the sarcastic praise he was given. He was used to seeing eyes roll. On the good side, it seemed that the electric tyke knew who he was, after all. It was relieving to cut out all those tedious presentations.
âBy your standards?â his eyes smiled, âThey must be really low. Iâll try harder next time, just for you.â
Passive-aggressive humor, exactly what he was good at.
âSo, youâre telling me that⌠The moment something catches your eye, you follow it? Mustâve been my shining domes.â
His rudeness seemed to come out naturally, now. Flashman had the feeling they were on the same page. The ice was⌠somewhat broken. Hopefully.
âHow endearing. I didnât think you had the mind of a butterfly.â
Ď â ; There's really nothing more disheartening than floating at least five inches off the ground and still being too short to be on eye level with someone.
Extremely disheartening.
And of course, as soon as he was being spoken to, he realised a crucial fact: he had absolutely no reason for approaching this guy and speaking towards him randomly.
Well, shit. What now?
It was like being put on the spot for a random trivia question and your mind goes totally blank. Apparently it happens to navis too.
"...Well, to be honest, I don't really need anything. You just kinda look out of place, is all."
His shoulders slumped a bit as a sympathetic look came to him. Although, with a lack of certain facial features, he looked disinterested if anything. "Flashy?" his eyes smiled rather creepily, "That was the point, I suppose. You don't fit in very well, either." To him, it was unlikely for Elecman to simply take a stroll around the Net, just to find someone to talk to. Without ulterior motives, too? He had seen his face on several news panels. And by the gist of it, he wasn't to be taken lightly... despite his looks.
"I never even dreamt that one of the first members of World-Three would come up to me. Please don't tell me you've been following me all day." he let out a quiet chuckle, hoping that he wouldn't affirm.

Ď â ; âOh, shit.â  were the first words to come to Elecmanâs mind once the navi in question stopped dead, he believed that perhaps the navi was aware of his existence?Â
Well, if that was the case, it would look strange for him to stand staring and then seemingly scurry away without a reason, so he made up his mind, and decided to approach the garishly coloured navi.Â
He was perhaps a couple of steps away when he made himself known to Flashman, though whether he would notice that Elecman was talking to him or not remained to be seen.Â
"Well, isnât this a rare sight?"
He didn't seem to acknowledge Elecman, until an extended silence took its place. Flashman took a moment to register that, in fact, the question was directed to him. He turned, only to stare above Elecman's head, right into the horizon. It wasn't to insult, of course. He lowered his head languidly and stared at the obvious electric type, thunderbolts and all. A familiar and tastelessly showy design. Yes, he recalled the original members of World Three, but not their names. Flashman narrowed his eyes with suspicion, "I'll assume you're talking about me and not this barren place. Need something? You've been lurking behind me for some time, haven't you?"

There it was, yet another day of gazing at meaningless lights and ads moving along the walls of the Net. A deplorable sight. It seemed like all pursuit of the W3 had been ceased, or simply given up on. Maybe, they were just watching from afar.. It wasnât like he was trying his best to stay low, either. His raison dâetre and anger had wavered in importance, now that every single member had been defeated. Including himself. There was no point to it. Strolls like these were now possible, without anyone even minding his presence. It was saddening, he certainly did enjoy the former attention.
Ď â ; Another day of aimless wandering. Or had it been a day yet? It had been so long, all the days seemed to blend into one, and Elecman didnât really care enough to keep up.
Everything on the net was quiet, aside from a stray virus here and there. Those NetPolice had wrapped everything up nice and neat, hadnât they? There was no one left to cause trouble, or distress, and although most people thought this was some kind of miracle, though to Elecman the only miracle here would be findig something that could ease his boredom.Â
He wasnât hopeful as he scanned his immediate area once more, however he did spot a navi that stuck out like a sore thumb- with a rather garish purple and yellow colour scheme- he thought perhaps they looked familiar? Heâd definitely seen this one on the news at some point.Â
He wasnât sure if he actually wanted to approach this navi or not, and so he just stood there, staring, trying to make up his mind.
Flashman drew his sight to the ground as he slowed his pace, somewhat sorrowed by the memories he had began to recall. It felt almost pathetic. A Darkloid, to mull over the past now that it had time to think. Ridiculous. With his abilities, he could've erased them all. He wasn't sure why he hadn't, by now. He ceased movement and remained idle. He peered up at the 'street' lamps hovering above him and had a certain itch to pop them. Or perhaps... he had sensed something.
