It was the same almost every month. April Fool’s day is an exception, but every month is not.

Cisco would pick a random day every month, choosing one victim wisely and deviously coming up with a prank. It’s like he’s planned everything a couple weeks in advance, setting all the equipment up and taking factors into consideration. He’s pranked practically everyone on Team Flash.

In June, he completely bedazzled all of Harry’s clothes, even the one’s on Earth 2. The prank made you all laugh, but Harry being Harry was completely pissed off at Cisco for a solid couple days until Barry and Caitlin talked to him.

In July, Cisco put red and yellow hair dye (Reverse Flash colors) in his shampoo, which Barry was not really a fan of since his hair looked really weird for about a month.

In August, HR was his next victim. Cisco took away all his books and coffee, then hid his drumsticks, making the novelist run around the entire facility for them. Poor cinnamon roll had gone completely silent and still, to Harry’s delight, through a caffiene withdrawal.

But not today, for you have banded together with Barry and the others to get back at said mechanical engineer. You roped HR into your revenge plan, even though HR stated that he’d only get in the way, which you then assured him that he’d fine.

“Alright so here’s how this is going to go…”

So the day started off normally, you all minding your own business until Cisco walked off to go to his workshop, tinkering with a new project. That’s when you all set the plan into motion.

You and Caitlin watched through the Cortex monitors as Harry, dressed in the Reverse-Flash suit, sneakily came up behind him.

“Cisco,” a rough and deranged low voice that Eobard uses called out to Cisco from behind.

Cisco froze, slowly turning around to face the voice hoping it’s not who he thinks it is. Reverse-Flash is supposed to be dead, right? I mean he got erased from existence not one, but twice. Once he saw the glowing red eyes Cisco screamed and made a breach to another part of the lab. Get as far away as possible, this cannot be happening.

Caitlin had concocted two compounds for this prank. You came up with the idea, and she supplied the serums. One to give Harry and HR temporary glowing red eyes. And one to change Barry and Wally’s lightning to a fiery red color.

Caitlin giggled as you alerted HR, who also had the Reverse-Flash getup, and Wally where Cisco was residing, trying to calm himself. Wally sped both of them to the other side of STAR Labs and quickly hiding, letting HR do his thing.

Cisco screamed a girly scream, backing away in disbelief and throwing random vibe blasts as the Reverse-Flash menacingly walked towards him, “You can’t run from me Cisco, remember I’ll always find a way to haunt you.” Cisco stumbled back into random tables and crates, stuttering and shaking in fear.

“No, you… you died”

“Did I? Did I really?”

“You’re doing great HR, just hang on a little bit more until Harry comes,” you spoke into the microphone connecting to HR’s comms. Barry and Harry were taking the serums, quickly zipping to where the others were located.

Barry quickly cuffed Cisco with the power dampening, cuffs so that neither doppelganger got injured if Cisco decided to fight back. The Scarlet Speedster brought Harry to stand behind Cisco and hiding with Wally behind old, gray crates.

“This should be good, if those two do this right Cisco should refrain from pranks for a month or so”

“Maybe for a solid year”

 Everyone in the Cortex watched from the monitors, dying from laughter as Cisco looked piss scared. High fives were given and recieved as the Harrison Wells doppelgangers revealed themselves to Cisco, although he wasn’t really paying attention since his soul basically left his body.

“Cisco Ramon, if you don’t close your mouth right now I swear I am going to smack you back into reality,” you grit out as your gaze flickers between the scientist and the actress you had suddenly grown an incredible hatred of.

“Y/N, that’s-”

“I know exactly who it is,” you cut off far harsher than you had intended. Honestly, you didn’t quite understand why you were so short tempered all of a sudden, all you know was that the actress you had been ready to fangirl over only an hour earlier was suddenly in your bad books, and as such Cisco should stop fawning over her… or perhaps that was wrong. Perhaps she was in your bad books because Cisco was fawning over her.

A heavy set frown made its way onto your lips as you considered the thought for a moment before Cisco interrupted them.

“I thought you liked her,” he commented, his tone surprisingly soft as he looked to you in confusion.

“I-” you start, not knowing what to say. “I just don’t want you to make an idiot of yourself. Fangirling is all well and good, but this is a whole other level.”

“Wait,” Cisco grins mischievously as he takes in your uncertain stance, watching carefully as your sights set on the ground below you. “You’re not jealous are you?”

“What?!” you ask perhaps a little too loudly, “of course not! I don’t need you blubbering around like a fish with me.”

“Mhmmm,” Cisco nods, a knowing look on his face as a smile plays at his lips. “So you’d be totally ok if I went up to her and asked her out.”

“W- I-” you stutter, the vision of your best friend falling in love with the actress and spending the rest of his life with her suddenly filling your thoughts as a frown takes over you.

Requested by bon-travail98   -  Barry x reader where he has to choose between saving the reader’s life or Iris’ and he chooses Iris at the last minute. Have it be something like the meta has them separated and there’s a bomb but they’re to far apart for even Barry to get to them both. oh and maybe have the reader live but not know why because she knows she’s not a meta, and she finds out it’s because she’s pregnant with Barry’s kid(s) and somehow their speed force is temporarily hers and her body acted on some instinct and ran her out of harms way. But she’s so upset with Barry that she keeps the fact that she’s alive a secret and eventually runs into someone… is this too much?? (At this time Barry’s the only speedster)

An unknown figure appeared on the screen, shadowed from view. “You have a choice, Mr. Allen.” Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin stared at the screen with wide eyes. “Which one do you love more?” Suddenly, two pictures of you and Iris appeared side by side on the screen. Both of you were tried up to a chair with a bomb strapped on the back. 

“Where is this coming from?” Barry demanded, his eyes wide with panic. Cisco started typing rapidly on the computer.

“I don’t know. It just took over the system.” Cisco spun around to try a different computer. “I can’t access the system.” 

“I can’t get in either,” Caitlin added, frowning at her own computer. 

“You have five minutes, Mr. Allen, before the bombs explode,” the figure sneered as a map appeared on the screen. Two red dots appeared on the map. One was in Mexico while the other was in Canada. “One or the other, Mr. Allen. You cannot save both.” With that, the figure disappeared from the screen leaving only the map.

Barry stared at the screen before glancing Cisco and Caitlin. “See if you can hack those bombs and slow them down.” He studied the screen, tortured as he glanced between you and Iris. He made a snap decision. “I’ll go after Iris first, so focus on stopping the bomb on (Y/N).”

“Wait, Barry,” Caitlin shouted, but Barry was already gone.
