msamberpriley This trip was more than incredible because of these two. We had nonstop fun and laughs. Definitely had adventures being kidnapped by an uber driver and conversations with strangers who turned into friends. But, We found out we lost a family member last night at the end of this trip and we shared tears but then decided to still smile and appreciate life even in mourning a death. Made me appreciate having family around all the time even more. RIP Ruben, I miss and love you. thank you so much @essencemag for taking care of me and my family! I had the time of my life and you have made my summer. I’m definitely coming back next year

msamberpriley So I travel a lot and every city doesn’t have makeup artists that can properly do African american makeup so @missdrini came by and gave me a tutorial 💜 I never learned to do eye shadow 🙈 or highlight and contour and I think I did a pretty good job for this to be my first time. It looks natural which is what I like. So now when I’m out of town I don’t have to worry! Another skill learned ✔️ thank you Drini! missdrini I think conducting 1+1 tutorials is my fave thing to do……just finished one w/ Ambuler, go to her page (@msamberpriley ) to see her before and after, she did it herself, I just talked her through it, although, this foo knew what she was doin **sucks teef** 😒👈🏽#beatsbydri #tutorialedition Thanks for the capture @merrymarie 😉
