saw someone do this on tiktok for kakashi&sakura and i found it so cute i just had to draw it with these two

i even started taking (veryyy detailed) notes bc i just had to let all my thoughts out somewhere!! reading is probably gonna take a bit longer now but atleast this way i’ll remember everything better haha

Now Reborn would most certainly drag Tsuna out to spar regularly as a way to make sure his skills are up to par and he won’t go and get himself killed by doing some dumb stuff. As it happens Reborn is pretty impossible to beat - and to Tsuna’s utmost annoyance Reborn also manages to be completely unbearable about this (bc Reborn wouldn’t be Reborn without pointing out every little misstep Tsuna made that led to him losing; I mean what kind of teacher would he be otherwise? lol)

But nevertheless Tsuna does improve bit by bit, even if reborn is still beating him in the end. Tsuna complains about this to Reborn and Reborn can see Tsuna getting a bit demotivated by it all so he’s all like “What a pity,” and then he just sighs to himself at what he is about to do and says “If you could atleast steal my fedora off of me, I suppose I could let you keep it for a while. Ah, but you probably couldn’t manage that either, huh.”

And to no one’s surprise this does bring Tsuna’s fighting spirit back right away (because he’ll be damned if he doesn’t take a shot at being able to waltz around in Reborn’s coveted fedora and rub it in the man’s face atleast a little bit)

So they continue with the sparring sessions and soon enough Tsuna does come into possession of the fedora

Tsuna is like really happy and all cocky about this, just prancing around everywhere with that hat on. And Reborn, for this once, actually tolerates this behaviour from Tsuna because goddamnit he is proud of his student, alright? He doesn’t show it, of course (he has a reputation to uphold cmon) but inside he is very much endeared by all of it (he does resolve to up his game on the sparring tho, after he decides to confiscate his fedora back - can’t have Tsuna getting too overconfident and all)

And it’s such a nice thing for them, like Reborn is just having a proud dad moment and is just glad that Tsuna is actually at a point where Reborn doesn’t have to be worried about something happening to his dear student too easily

this is smth i made for my khr x bnha crossovers. so like i imagine that whenever Tsuna travels to japan, Reborn takes it on himself to drill Tsuna while they’re still on the way sitting in the Vongola’s private plane. questions include things like what to answer if he would happen to be seen by someone using his flames, or just generally doing mafia stuff. or also if he gets taken into custody and is questioned by police.

In hindsight, he should've expected Reborn to take advantage of him not being as aware as usual for a while.

Tsuna made the grave mistake of falling asleep in class, and unlucky for him, Reborn noticed it. For Reborn, on the other hand? This was a golden opportunity. Something has been bugging him with this kid ever since he first came here, and Reborn wanted to find out what it was. So he had to try something very, very risky.

He knew it could possibly harm Tsuna, but this kid who seemingly came out of nowhere, who shouldn't even exist, was someone he couldn't figure out. Tsunayoshi looked a lot like Primo, why? A coincidence like this was far too unlikely without him having any actual connection to the first Vongola. He even asked Nono about it. There are no records of Primo having any other bloodlines. None.

And damnit, if this kid wasn't good at keeping secrets. Whenever Reborn tried to get something out of him, it's like Tsunayoshi already knew every one of his tricks. Now, he could hold a gun to his head and demand answers again, but if that did not work the first time, Reborn doubted it would this time.

But Reborn was sure he was hiding something, and he was also sure it was related to the mafia. This kid even looked like the vongola primo and wasn't at all surprised whenever he heard Ienari and the others accidentally say something about the mafia when he was nearby. And Tsunayoshi was obviously not a naive person to just fall for the quick lies that Ienari told him everytime that happened. So why play dumb?

Reborn had only one choice left. See if this Tsunayoshi was somehow related to Primo. How you ask? Well, as said before, Tsunayohi made the mistake of falling asleep and letting his guard down. So Reborn commanded Ienari to hand him the Vongola Sky Ring. And despite Ienari's anxious questioning, Reborn took the ring, went over to Tsunayoshi and slid it on his finger.

And surprisingly, the ring accepted its new bearer.

Tsuna woke up to power running through his body. The Vongola Sky Ring. His eyes snapped open and he stared at his hand. The sky ring was on his finger. But it was not his. No, the power of the ring was familiar but not the one he got well-accustomed to.

He looked up, Reborn was in front him, a small, almost unnoticable expression on his face. Aha, so that's what we're doing now, he thought. Reborn actually put the sky ring on him. And the ring also accepted him. Damn. Tsuna didn't know Vongola blood applied throughout different universes too. He didn't think Reborn would actually go to this length. Reborn, you maniac. So now Reborn was staring at him, along with Ienari, unlike Reborn's expression, his wasn't controlled, it was just pure surprise and shock.

Okay so being held at a gunpoint wasn't ideal. But at least it was Reborn who had the gun. As long as Tsuna doesn't do anything that makes him look like a spy or an assassin, Reborn won't shoot. Probably.

Tsuna still stood by his opinion that, yes, he can stretch this out for longer. So he stands with confidence, answers Reborn's question with more open answers than needed and stands his ground. Reborn leaves him alone for a surprisingly long time after that.

But the suspicious looks won't stop, obviously. And Ienari seems to notice it too, albeit not being able to understand why. Tsuna just wonders how he even let himself make a rash decision like that (damnit, why can't Reborn be here right now, he would've dragged Tsuna away from here before he even arrived). Well, learning to be a bit more indepentend can't hurt now, right?

More days pass by and Tsuna is still nowhere close to being able to go home. Which is not good. So, so not good. Tsuna wonders often whether the others back home have more of a clue than he does at this point. But since he's still here, it doesn't seem like they made any breakthrough either. But that's fine he just needs to pull this out until he can go back. Since Reborn is already being really suspicious at him, he thought of just leaving without a trace and going back to hiding in Italy. He then realized that that would only make Reborn more suspicious, which means Reborn would also look for him most likely, Tsuna seriously doubted Reborn would just let him off that easy. So that idea was shot down not even five minutes after it came to existence.

Lately his days been spent with going to school, interacting with Ienari and his guardians, avoiding Reborn's questions, and then after school he put all his time looking for signs of Byakuran (Tsuna was not giving this up until he had proof that byakuran wasn't here, damnit) and digging through tons of information from the mafia. Those quick 'hop on a flight to Italy and then come straight back after he was done reading' weekends were not pleasant in the slightest. He should have just stayed in Italy, damn his curiosity.

He's exhausted at this point. While yes, he can go for long without sleep (Even though Reborn treasured going to bed at a set time then waking up early more, he still made sure to train Tsuna to stay up and functioning for long periods of time, despite exhaustion. "You never know when it might come in great use for you, Tsuna." He always used to say), there is still a point for him where his body just says, "I don't care, I'm tired." and just gives in to the temptation of sleep.

Tsuna travels into a different universe, part two! Yay!

So what was Tsuna's idea, you ask? Well he wanted to check out the Decimo of this universe. And if it goes well, he could ask the Decimo to help him (No, Tsuna wouldn't do that. He doesn't want to bother him, he probably has enough on his plate already). So he did the next logical thing, got a plane ticket to Japan and went straight to Namimori.

Now second part of the plan was to actually get to talking proximity, which is going to be really hard to do unsuspiciously if the World's Best Hitman (who was still a baby here) is watching his every step. How did he solve this problem? He got a fake identity and joined the would-be-Decimo's school (he kept the name Tsunayoshi but changed his surname because that was still the same, turns out). Tsuna even got into the same class as the Decimo, lucky.

And it all went fine, really. He got the full name of the Decimo, Sawada Ienari (finally, because that was not an information people just knew), and he even befriended his Famiglia (who were the same as Tsuna's own mind you, man he missed them already), well at least the ones who were close by. Except Kyoya, Tsuna just let him be, he didn't feel like risking the possibility of fighting, thankyouverymuch. Ienari just seemed happy that he finally has a "normal" friend, but Tsuna tried not to create a deeper friendship with him. He didn't want Ienari to be sad when Tsuna gets back to his universe. In Tsuna's opinion Ienari didn't deserve that, so he was always keeping the Decimo at an arm's length.

The only problem was Reborn, oh Tsuna didn't expect naivness from Reborn, but he certainly didn't count with the fact that apparently Vongola Primo still looked the same (the Reborn from his universe would be pissed at Tsuna so much for not checking this). And who else looked just like Vongola Primo? That's right, Tsuna did. Just his luck... So Reborn was suspicious, even Tsuna himself would admit that the resemblance between him and Primo is scarily close (the fact that his eyes were orange even out of Dying Will Mode probably didn't help his case, either), so he doesn't blame Reborn.

Whenever he was close to Reborn Tsuna could just feel the suspicion. While his fake identity might fool the government, Reborn is smarter than that, but the hitman didn't corner him and put a gun to his head to get him to answer questions. Yet. On the other hand, Tsuna had the advantage of having been trained by Reborn. He could stretch this out for longer. He could.

The group still thinks Tsuna is just a civillian and it's kind of entertaining to see them trying to keep the Mafia a secret from him. Another major thing he suspects is that everything he and his Famiglia went through after the fight with Varia didn't even happen yet. Tsuna started thinking about this when he saw that here the Arcobaleno curse wasn't broken, when back home they did that around two years ago. The more he looked into it the more he noticed the other things too.

Ya'll I just dug out a story from the old dusty, dusty boxes in the back of my memory. I thought of it back when I read a ton of KHR fanfics. I was really into those fanfics where Tsuna gets reborn/accidentally switches into a parallel universe (anybody remember those??). So of course I made my own too (never wrote it, just daydreamed about it lol). But I wanna share it, so here's a part of it in a nutshell, sort of.

Anyway, basically the story starts with Tsuna getting shot and dying. Well not really. The thing is, the guys who shot him bought some special bullets from a shady mafia business, and they wanted bullets that will 100% kill Tsuna (because he's the Vongola Decimo and he won't be going out by a simple bullet pff) but surprise surprise, they accidentally gave them the wrong bullets! So now those bullets won't kill Tsuna, they will just send his body to another universe, but the bad guys don't know that. Well I mean, they figure it out after they can't see the body but by then Tsuna's Guardians got the situation under control.

[One thing worth noting is that in this story Tsuna is like 16 (everyone's ages matched to that too of course) he's already the Decimo and a bit more experienced and -sort of- more mature, he still has his moments though.]

After this point the story splits into two, one where we follow Tsuna and what he's doing in the parallel universe, and one where the whole gang back home is trying to figure out where Tsuna even is and how to get him back. For now I will only tell you a bit about what Tsuna is doing in the beginning :)

Okay so, Tsuna wakes up, in the middle of nowhere, his Vongola ring gone (did he leave it behind? Tsuna hopes he'll find it), and veryyyy confused. "Pretty sure I got shot, but- no wounds?" he thinks. But he gets up, dusts himself off and tries to figure out where he is. He realizes after a while that he's in Italy. Great, very good starting point to figure stuff out.

He gets to Sicily, slicks his hair out of his face for harder recognition (debatable if it works, but it still looks good anyway) and asks around a bit about the Mafia (he knows how to get information and from where, Reborn made sure to teach him that) and can you guess? Even though it's the same date that he remembers from his universe, there is still no Vongola Decimo in sight (although, some said he was still in training, those were the ones deeper in the mafia, Tsuna figured). Another thing he noticed is nobody even batted an eye at how he looked, even those who saw pictures of the would-be-Decimo, which means that they must look at least a bit different. Weird, but can happen. Anything else seems the same in the Mafia as he remembered it being. His next step would be trying to get home, he could ask Byakuran for help (his buddy through all universes). But he has no idea where he is! And that guy is like impossible to track down.

So he thinks for a bit and makes an arguably not-so-wise decision, but he wants to do this and Decimo in this universe or not, he still is one back home! He can handle this, he thinks, let's hope he's right.

I'm back and I'm probably gonna dissapear again after I post this but oh well. This drawing in itself took me like a week with all the procrasination I'm doing
