There is way more underneath this fame game than we, merely mortals, even dare to wonder or daydream. It goes beyond imagination and further than some are capable of bare. The pressure comes from everywhere, in a world where everybody wants something from you. Nothing is unconditional, everything's got a price. 

Everyone suddenly has something to say about you - or to you. Each individual loves for you for a reason, a personal motive that drew them to seek safety in a stranger. You've showed them a way out of their struggles, you've brought light to some dark souls or even allowed them to find in you their long-lost soul mates. 

Faceless and nameless adorers pouring their hearts to you on a daily basis, sharing deepest secrets and heartbreaking life stories and waiting for nothing but comfort in and from you. Stories so similar in such ways that it feels like only the characters are out of place.

I love whenever she inserts literature (quotes, poems, etc.) among her songs or music references (musicians and part of lyrics). Can't really point out a favourite, though. Every other day I discover a new reference in her lyrics I hadn't noticed before and it's definitely mindfucking. 

It's hard to say whether they are wisely used or not since lyrics are something very personal to her and if she put them there because she felt they were appropriate and needed. Although I do think they are sometimes overused, like in Tropico; I felt like it was a LOT of references in just 30 minutes and not a lot of her own written work.

I believe in lucky charms.

There’s something very bittersweet in seeing your deepest wishes painted in reality and being shaped right in front of your eyes. Some sweet nightmares. Bittersweet reveries. Wishing the best to people, holding their hands, guiding their ways and then seeing them spreading their wings and learning how to fly. Alone.

I like to pretend she is mine as much as I am hers. 

Another Lana fan, another Lana blog...

It's been three years since the world had something to say about her, and almost the same amount ever since I had something to say about her. 

It's not that I've saved any words, but I've saved a few thoughts to myself. Twitter is too restrictive and I felt like I needed a place to properly express myself. So this is what this Tumblr will be about: thoughts.

It's a journal, a scrapbook, a diary, a place to share my vague and concrete thoughts, opinions, interpretations, pictures and personal experiences Lana-related.

The majority of the things here included will be mine, unless stated otherwise (or reblogs).
