Dylan wasn’t sure how else to react but to smile, she hadn’t been sure where they stood before, if they had just been flirting or if there was anything there. “Okay…” she smiled as he walked away, downing the rest of her drink she slid it over to the replacement and handed over the cash to pay. Turning to face him she got down from the stool and nodded her head, “Yeah, I am. Do you want to take my car or yours?” She asked, looking up at the boy with a grin. Her heart was racing as she realized that this was now a date and she wasn’t prepared at all.
“Mine, for sure. It wouldn’t be very gentlemanly of me to take you out and then make you drive especially when you came here to see me in the first place,” Hayden answered, shrugging a bit. He knew they were going to have a good time and he was so excited that they weren’t just ignoring whatever it was between them anymore. Sure he was nervous but that didn’t take away from it. “Did you decide what you wanted to eat though?” he asked as they walked out of the bar and into the night, Hayden leading her around the back to where his Jeep was parked.Â
