this is an appreciation post for the one and only viscount tewksbury, marquess of basilwether, since he’s def one of the movie’s best characters and is NOT getting enough love. first: louis partridge acted the heck outta his role. second: the boy likes flowers. no - the boy is WILDLY PASSIONATE about flowers (and plants) to the point where he knows a shit ton of latin names. third: his treehouse hideout. so FREAKING CUTE. fourth: he has IDEAS for how things could be BETTER. he’s a progressive!! he believes in equality. fifth: he supports enola in all of her endeavors. a true champion. sixth: toxic masculinity? never heard of him. no, tewksbury is not afraid to let enola lead their escapades. i am 100% HERE for a stereotype-shattering make lead. this character has my WHOLE HEART. thank you for coming to my ted talk
