One of these stories is called "Redemption Center", taking place in the G1 cartoon universe where Starscream loses his memory and is taken in by the Autobots, while being protected by Optimus the entire time. Since copies of the book in good condition are tricky to come by at a reasonable price, thought I'd scan the pages of Redemption Center and share with you all.

if a tf continuity like this existed and it followed tfone rules where you can swap and replace cogs with relative ease, so to speak... how popular do you think frame play would get in the bedroom?

i'm picturing couples with wildly different frame types getting to experiment what it's like in their partner's body for a while. the most dramatic example i can think of is starop, because it's me obviously, and i can imagine optimus being thrilled to actually experience what it's like to have wings in the bedroom (and how sensitive they can be), meanwhile starscream is determined to put his new extra might to good use. i kinda imagine it like cybertronian equivalent of genderswap roleplay, since i imagine they'd put a lot more stock into frame type than the pronouns you use.
