sometimes i think about like. what actually stops us from assuming trobed as canon. i mean. they get all the show's most romantic moments ("i love you" "i know", valentines, dramatic goodbyes), they are refered to as each other's boyfriends MULTIPLE TIMES and it is never denied, they get jealous of each other when one is in a romantic or otherwise close entanglement with someone else. they obviously hold each other in the highest possible regard. i mean, there is simply so much. do they have to say it, for it to have been canon? did they need a confession, or a kiss? i would have liked to see it but my point is there are so many context clues making it so that i think it's acceptable to assume the relationship as canon.
