Rupert is a hipster lil art nerd/english major (i haven’t chosen which yet tbh) and frequents coffee shops n bookstores.

Amir plays on the soccer team (foreword right) and is majoring in [insert major here] i was thinking music theory/performance but i didn’t think that far oops.

Rupert and Cecily are friends (they met in their art class), and she drags him along to Amir’s soccer game because she has a crush on Joan (who is also on the soccer team).

After the game Cecily goes off to find Joan, and leaves Rupert alone. Bad news is that she’s his ride home, so he leaves to go find her..... and bumps into Amir. Ohmygodhessohot. Amir steadies him, making Rupert blush like crazy, and apologizes. Rupert (the poor disaster gay that he is) talks and talks and when he finally stops, he walks away awkwardly because he just embarrassed himself in front of a really hot soccer player.

When Rupert and Cecily gets back to the dorm rooms he tells her about Amir and she teases him about his crush hehehe

Perhaps Amir makes up some dumb excuse to keep meeting him for coffee. A helping hand to study, a book meetup (he hates reading fantasy, but grows to love it as he keeps meeting with Rupert), or just lunch.

When Rupert gets a book of poetry, he doesnt even have to question who it's from.
