I am a lot happier in life now. I am 10 months without drinking, I’ve quit smoking cigarettes, I have a job and I work 30-40hrs a week. I have a boyfriend of 7 months, I live with him, I pay rent, bills, and am saving to get a better place and am completely self sufficient. I’m still sick, but now that I am in a loving and supportive environment by everyone around me I am striving. Occasionally I suffer from dissociation and rarely psychotic episodes, BUT I am no longer feeding into a cycle of self destruction and negativity. I am somewhat “stable” you could say!
I’m looking to go back to school, and i’m wanting to go into pharmaceuticals as I have such knowledge and experience regarding them! It’s a field that isn’t overpopulated, I’m interested in it and understand it and it’s something that guarantees stable income, which i’ve recently learnt was of importance to me when I met someone I want to be able to marry and own a home with. I’m just hesitant as I’d have to go to college and then upgrade because I didn’t take sciences in high school. For the time being I will save and begin paying back my OSAP loan.
I am striving. I’m doing well. Im still sick, but I’m doing this.
