“Hehehe!” Childish giggles bubbled from Ponyo’s lips as the girl swung around on the plane’s propeller. She didn’t see any harm in it- it was really fun, like a game!
Upon being told that it could hurt her, Ponyo was confused! She let go, falling on her bottom before looking up at the propeller. “Huh? How?” She questioned. “It’s not scary or mean lookin’!”
It was obvious the child before the red head was having fun, nothing seemed to be harming her either. None the less playing on a propeller like it was some kind of juggle gym was terribly dangerous, and not to mention the plane's pilot most likely wouldn't be too happy to find a little kid playing on it. So that's why she warned the little one, pretty much ruined her fun too. Seeing as how the small girl fell from a blade to land on her butt.
"It doesn't have to be scary, or mean looking to be dangerous." Fio answered and walked over to her. "If it was turned on while you were playing on it, you'd go flying into the air... or something. You could fall and hurt yourself too- while it's off. Get a cut, a scrape, and perhaps a broken bone!" Although the last example might not happen too often, it was still a good reason to show how the propeller could be dangerous.
"Oh," she started again. "You also might get in trouble for playing on someone else's property. Which could be dangerous if the pilot was a very mean person. Though none of the pilot's around here are mean."
San does not know what a propeller is. The thing in front of her smells foul though. Crouched down on her haunches, the teen plucks up a clod of earth, and, after hefting it in one hand, tosses it at the horrible human thing that is making so much noise. The yelp she makes as bits of dirt ricochet back against her person is more canine than human.
At first motionless, the girl watches the event that occurs before her. The other had an unusual reaction to the propeller's moving blades, and a certainly stranger reaction to her actions. Any other person in their right mind would have known better than to even throw something at a propeller in motion, aware that whatever was thrown would indeed ricochet.
So why was she acting in such a manner? After a moment of gawking at the stranger the girl finally came to and shook her head slightly. "Get away from it!" Though her yells could be taken as a hateful order, they weren't and instead were a demand for safety. She decided that a course of action would perhaps be better than just yelling at the other.
So in taking a quick jog over to the masked stranger she touched her arm in an attempt to confront her. "You have to be careful, let me shut it off okay?" A small smile is given before the young woman walks behind the propeller to the engine that is running it. She hops into the seat of the plane and fidgets around in it before finally shutting it down, which brings the propeller to a slow halt. "Better?"

"Just a little adjustment here, a tune there... and I'm almost done!" Came an excited squeal as the girl leaned in further to the seaplane she was currently working on. A lone hand reached back, expecting to be handed what she asked for.
"Could you hand me a rivet bucking bar and a screwdriver?"

"Oh, um hi. Fine I guess, and what’s a gina??"
"Glad to hear... um, she's not a what. Gina is a woman, very pretty, well renowned, and the owner of this Hotel/Bar you're in right now."
The girl gave the young man and odd look. "So... who are you?"
"Oh! I could have sworn— your outfit gave off the impression you flew.” Howl placed a hand on his hip as he tried to see what she was up to. “Mmmm, not that I know of? Fancy name he has though— tell me, what’s it like to fly in a plane? And what’s this Porco fellow like?”
He had his own flying castle but planes were a different story.
"Oh, well it does.... doesn't it." A small laugh came from the young woman as she placed her hands on her hips. True that wearing her suit would make it seem like she flew, but it was simply more for comfort and style.
Now an inquire of flying, and her dear friend. She took a few moments of silence to think over the first question before answering. "Flying in a plane is exciting, thrilling, it gets the blood pumping. Even if you're not in control you can pretty much get the feel of the place. Especially in seaplanes, it's truly amazing. Coming in for a landing over the sea is one of my favorite parts of accompanying Porco, I like the light spray from the water."
A small smile danced over the girl's lips as she then prepared to speak of the great flying ace known as Porco Rosso. "Now on Porco, he's a great man. Indubitably one of the greatest pilots to ever fly over the Adriatic, and well anywhere else. He hasn't met a man who can beat him yet. He's pretty well known around this general area as a bounty hunter. Oh and of course he has honor. A very great man indeed." A simple nod was given at the ending, as she decided to leave the part of him being cursed as a pig out of her little speech.
"Yeah, working when it’s late isn’t that great of an idea. You might wanna try getting more sleep from now on."
{ It was why the blonde always made sure to complete assignments during the hours of daylight. Of course, that was not always easy since it was impossible to know when Jerry would decide to WOOHP her. Be it through a towel dispenser or even a fitting room, he always found ways to transport her at random and mostly unfortunate times. }
{ A friendly smile was offered to the stranger at the word of gratitude. }
"No problem! I totally get how important it is to get someone else to check your work over. Getting a second opinion really helps."
"That's something I will make sure to do, more than I've been doing." She gave the back of her neck a gentle rub, smiling over at her company. Fio gave it some thought on whether the girl knew her way around a plane's design, then again it was just a simple showing of the wing's length being abnormally large compared to it's opposite. Still, it wouldn't hurt anyone to ask.
"It really does, glad you were here." The girl turned around in her chair with a friendly smile of her own. "So, miss- do you know anything on planes? I was a bit curious, maybe you'd have some experience with them?"
"I see. Well, I wouldn’t want you to lose all of your markings."
{ Such a thing would only cause confusion for the girl when going to construct her project. After all, the other knew better than the blonde did when it came to the particular matter. }
"I’m Martha, by the way. Martha May Whovier. May I ask who you are?"
A silent nod came from the young lady as she eyed her work in progress of a blueprint down, wondering what else she could add to help make it more efficient. "Huh?"
Oh right, she was also in the company of a woman-- how rude of Fio! She spun around to face the woman completely and smiled a bit.
"I'm sorry, it's a pleasure to meet you Miss Martha. I'm Fio Piccolo, granddaughter of the owner and operator of Piccolo S.P.A."

“I've probably have heard of me. It fits my reputation!”
"Heard of... Who?"
Kiki hummed to herself as she gazed off into the distance. It was rather a slow day, and taking that opportunity, Osono had went out to do a few errands of her own and left Kiki in charge until she returned. When the sound of the bell on the door jingled, she straightened her composer a bit with a huge smile and greeted the customer, “Hello! Welcome to Gutiokipanja Bakery, what can I get you today?”
A Bakery? Fio's attention was caught with the greeting the girl gave her, hues scanning the area around herself. She didn't notice the building was a bakery before she walked in, oblivious to her surroundings whilst reading some blueprints. Though now a dapper attitude was about as a quick hand stuffed the blueprints into her mail carrier bag.
"Gutiokipanja Bakery?" She asked a bit quietly, still taking in the sight of the place. "Oh... Oh! Do you have any Tiramisu or Chocolate Cassata?" Known back in Milan as favored Italian desserts, the girl couldn't help but inquire.
Porco could see that twinkle in Fio’s eyes. There wasn’t really anything the plane needed, but he couldn’t turn down that look. He was a softie after all, at least when it came to Fio.
"Well, now that you mention it, I haven’t had her tuned recently…"
"A tune up? Got it, I'll get straight to work." Fio didn't need any other conformation from the man then that, she couldn't wait to get to work. Though a small conversation wouldn't hurt before she went off to give the seaplane it's tune up.
"Luckily Gina has a bit of tools stowed away, I can go get those and head out to her. You know Gina knows her way around a seaplane herself. Average knowledge, some things more than other people would know- we talked about her plane some, then others." Her lips then formed a mischievous grin as she eyed down the man, mentioning Gina brought a question to her mind.
"So... Speaking of Gina, you talked to her yet~?" A wink was given with the question.
Esther looked at the sketch, tilting her head slightly. “I think you should, of course i’m not the best person to ask when it comes to flying machines. Captain Kublai would know more. But I do like the design.”
After a moment of quick contemplation and scanning over her work the girl gave a small nod. "I think I agree with you, there's always room for improvement." Even with a new place design, she knew there were going to be errors that would need to be fixed.
"Well thank you miss, but who's Captain Kublai? A seaplane pilot? Or fellow engineer?"
{ Lips formed a perfect ‘o’ as hues briefly inspected the sight before her. }
"It looks a little uneven. The right wing looks bigger than the left."
The young woman takes a look at her design again, leaning close to the paper. "Ack--! You're right!"
Fio erases a bit of the wing's length off and gives an aggravated huff. "Porco said not to stay up all night... My work did get sloppy."
"Oh, thanks by the way."

"I think it’s a lovely sketch, but I couldn’t possibly tell you if the wingspan is off. Technology design is not my forte. I suppose it could use a bit of color."
"Thanks Miss, that's very nice of you to say." Despite having no knowledge on the subject. "Oh I'll color it when it's built, if I color the blueprints I'd loose all of my markings, measurements and such."

"Well, what do you think?
Is it too radical? Should I change the wingspan by a forth?"
