Open Starter— Langour nights

She’s sad.

Her shoulders were as slumped as she let herself into her apartment, face tired and body heavy. Her chest felt tighter with every breath.

Why was she feeling like this? She felt so weird and confused and she kept thinking about Ryder. Ryder and his stupid... She flicked on the lights, dumping her things and pushed her paint stained hands through her hair.

Flopping onto her back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Blinking back the burning in her eyes.

OPEN STARTER— Denial

She’s hungover and feeling utterly shit—getting up early after a restless night and shoving her books into her bag. She doesn’t have the energy to get herself dressed properly, just her painting overalls and hair up in a mess, puts it all down to her lack of sleep.

She’s up to date on her assignments and she knows the theatre will be quiet today so she takes her opportunity to get some more of the sets finished. She grabbed a coffee on her way, trying her best not to think about the events of the previous night as she let herself in, greeting the stage manager who was marking cues as she headed to her station. Intent on keeping to herself for the day until she felt better.
