“…Well! What`cha been up too? I know the last time we talked you were getting down to business. You got anything hashed out yet?”

Yeah, I uh.. got promoted at the radio station, so I’m working there full time. Still writing music too.. you?

“From you? Always.”

So will you accept my apology?

“You know… that smell in here isn’t me. It’s fermenting beans, my manger decided it would be a great idea to do that shit on my shift. He’s gone, left me to deal with it all day. He’s officially a dick.” 

What do you think would happen if someone accidentally threw it away?

“It might be hard to beg with your mouth full.”

You’ve got to admit that sounds more pleasing than the actual words.

I usually don’t ask people what they think about me so I wouldn’t really know.

“I don’t remember you apologizing.”

I could get on my knees and beg for forgiveness if you want.

I usually don’t recall any of my dreams, Must be all boring then right?

“Whatever, Fi. Clearly you’re in a mood and don’t want to talk about it, which is fine. I’m not pushy, we both know it.” 

Can’t you just accept my apology?

Looking back on my life. Laughed so hard I cried, and cried so hard I laughed.

“Mhm, this isn’t awkward at all.”

Awkward? Yeah not at all.. so..

“No, I heard you.” Jeevan replies, pressing his lips together. “Clearly you’re in a shit mood, come talk to me when you’re out of it. I’m not in the mood to argue.”

I’m always in a shit mood though. I don’t want to argue, I wasn’t trying to. Plus you know I love your hair the way it is anyway so it’s not like i meant it when I agreed that you were a dirty hippie who needed a haircut.
