…Disco Elysium I fear. I started playing it when I got out of hospital and had to stay with a family member for a period of time while I recovered. I was (and still am) being denied treatment by my GP, and needed something to keep my mind busy and try to adjust to my brain fog and memory being much worse. It was a game I’d heard about, and it was on Game Pass, so I gave it a try, and my ass got hooked.

You Weren’t Meant To Be Human by Andrew Joseph White. For transparency’s sake I will say that I know I started reading it, but this was before my hospital stint, and I have absolutely no memory of reading it or what it’s about, but plan to start again soon.

Writing wise, I swear I am still chipping away at my judblanc fic, god willing I’ll get the next chapter out before 2027, lol. I’ve also been doing a lot of Lino cutting, and am currently painting a picture frame for a Pan’s Labyrinth print I made for my ex film teacher.

currently reading -- ah , im not currently reading anything for fun right now, ive just barely started my summer studies so the only thing i can say im reading is allen and greenough's new latin grammar X___X but the iliad and the canterbury tales are also goals of mine this summer. so wish me luck

currently working on -- like prev i too am working on a judblanc fic ! i haven't posted any of it yet but ive written 30k for it and i do think there's something there so i HOPE i can post AT LEAST chapters 1-4 which is where the , premise rlly starts. projected 28 chapters. and outside the realm of writing im also working on , making a pair of cargo shorts out of some worn out old jeans. and trying to teach myself latin (just started) (still hopeful)

current obsession -- ohhh MAN there are many.. i think it’s a very close race between Arrested Development and House M.D., and it fluctuates on the daily which is ahead.

currently reading -- Sunrise on the Reaping!! i’m hoping to get a lot of it done this week in st. george because i have like nothing else planned for this trip, so. book! it’s really fantastic i like it a lot

currently working on -- Artfight References (AUGH. BLOW UP.) most of it is re-vamping my refs from last year, but holy smokes it is a lot of drawing. very fun and exciting!! also trying to teach myself storyboarding… it is a trial to be sure. but hopefully i can make at least one animatic-style artfight attack this year, that’d be good.

Current obsession: Been getting back into Hermitcraft. It’s one of those things that I forget about for a year and then remember and catch up on everything in a two month period and then forget about again. But I’ve been watching Pearlescentmoon a lot and it’s been fun!

Currently reading: Not a solid book right now. I’m keeping up with fanfic reading. My camp is using The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz to inform our SEL, so I hope to read some of that over summer but I’ll see if I have the time.

Currently working on: Camp. That is my whole life right now. For a more focused answer, I am hoping to run ttrpg at some point so I need to adapt one of my one-shots to a simpler rules system and ensure it fits in a two hour block.

Currently wearing: A watch, teal t-shirt, jean shorts, ankle socks that do not match, vans shoes with shoelaces that also do not match. I will put on a cape when I leave. It’s my blue blanket one.

Last search: Rhymezone. For my hand sanitizer poems.

Favorite flower: Sunflowers! We used to grow them at my house and I got to eat the seeds. Imagine a like 10 year old with a whole sunflower head in her lap picking them out.

Current obsession: I know based on my blog it seems like I’m always obsessed with hatchetfield, but like that’s usually a constant medium level interest. Right now I’m more actively hyperfixated. I’ve been working on my Holywebs au a lot, and also I’ve been thinking about Glam and the Pentagrams. At the same time I’ve been slowly watching through vods of FFVII gameplay and reading aerti fics before bed lol.

Currently reading: Paradise Lost! Oh my god. Like oh my god it’s taking me forever because I keep annotating the crap out of each page. The language is just so dense and every time I have to pause and reread and parse and give my thoughts AGHHH. I’m reading it cuz someone I respect recommended it to me, it’s mentioned in Frankenstein and I love Frankenstein and it’ll give me more insights into The Creature as a character, and also because my au has lots of religious theming and I thought it’d fun to draw from paradise lost as well (I also recently got a copy of Dante’s inferno for similar reasons)

Currently working on: I’ve been doing hatchetfield art requests on my art acc so I’ve been doing those. Also I’m always working on a poem and my au + someone just sent me an ask about a different au I’ve been cooking up and whoops it’s getting kinda long so that too. I write fanfic now too I guess??? So like I’m working on a Zailey/theatermates fic.

Last search: I think it was actually Websters dictionary because I was also looking at rhymes for a poem lol. The one I’m workshopping right now is in the style of a children’s book and it’s about the fluidity of gender.

Favorite flower: I don’t actually have a favorite flower (I know I’m boring. No whimsey. Stone me now.), but my partner’s favorite flowers are columbines. I’ve drawn them a lot because of this and now they’re very sentimental to me.

Current obsession: Hatchetfield. Just everything. But as of right, right now mainly my OCs for Glam and my Recast babies.

Currently reading: The Tudors in Love by Sarah Gristwood, and The Missing Thread by Daisy Dunn. After that I'm having a summer of rereading old fiction books I have.

Currently working on: Recast Zailey being gay and hating it the fic. Finishing up a fic request for a game/movie night that I have been very delayed in posting. Alongside the next chapters for all my ongoing fics. The reason for listening to Guy (and the rest of the HF soundtrack), beyond it just being great, is because I'm currently in the process of creating instrumental versions that fit the altered recast voices where vocal ranges switched.

Currently wearing: my TGWDLM tee and purple dungarees. It is just so comfy and the perfect balance of warm and cold when the weather can't commit to one thing for more than five minutes.

Last search: the bus schedule for my university.

Favourite flower: currently it is foxglove. The ones on the way to my house have recently flowered and they look so pretty, add such a nice splash of colour and contrast to the otherwise plain green landscape.

Currently reading: Gwen And Art Are Not In Love, and I'm re-listening to Little Thieves on my drives at the moment. Love both of those so much

Currently working on: my apprenticeship at work, meeting my reading goal of 20 books this year (very reasonable goal for me), getting out of a writing slump, nothing creative at the moment because holy shit i dont have the energy for it rn

Currently wearing: my pajamas, which is a pair of flannel pants and a shirt I got for helping at an event thats three sizes too large for me. Its past midnight as im writing this
