watched wendall & wild again and there’s so many messages to take away from this movie, like the way the dead still control the modern political landscape, the inherent evil of capitalism, the horror and injustice of the school to prison pipeline, the wrongness of churches being swayed by political bribes, the importance of community. but if there’s one hidden message to be taken from wendall & wild, it’s to never underestimate a transmasc on a mission

it would have been really funny if palpatine enacted order 66 only to be immediately killed by one of his own clone guards who doesn’t really understand the difference between the sith and jedi and just sees palpatine with a lightsaber and goes “oh a jedi!” And point blank shoots him without hesitation

Hilarious (actually not) to me that yall write AUs where the rebels are c*ps or m*rines or some other agent of state violence when in reality, modern AU rebels would k*ll c*ps and m*rines. Sorry (no I’m not) but we didn’t spend two whole seasons watching them k*ll the ancient Roman equivalents of those exact people for yall to equate them with their oppressors. This is how I know yall are just in this for sm/ut and gay fet/ishization and have only a vague interest in the actual story.
