"Mm, let me just..." Dove moved quickly, hands reaching out to put away and zip up her makeup bag, dropping it gently at her feet before she turned her head, fingers reaching up to graze his cheek. "Assuming this is my reward for being so amazing in this show too, huh?" She said, maybe goading for a little bit of praise as she let him lead the way.

Those words said so much-- meant so much. It was almost pathetic the way it made his heart swell, the idea of being with someone who actually loved him again-- no. Not again. For the first time. It had him grinning in a way that for sure made him look as whipped as he felt. "Oh yeah, pretty sure Victorygasm was supposed to take place here," He smirked, giving her boost onto the cleared counter before his lips found her neck once more, "So it's only fair that on the last night of your incredible performance, you get an encore...what do you say, hm?"

Her mind admittedly wandered as he spoke, to, thinking about the choice of words because it wasn't like he had mentioned a particular thing between his legs. And it wasn't like Dove thought him not bold enough to throw it in there. She'd become acquainted, though, maybe not enough to her own liking. "Got any other magic I should know about?" They'd just been talking around him being deep inside her while they watched movies together, so the fact that they hadn't actually passed that threshold threatened to weigh on her mind.

"How much of the stuff on the counter do you actually care about because if Imma remind you of all of my magic at my disposal, we're gonna need somethin nice and sturdy..."

Dove hated telling the Beauty and the Beast story for a number of reasons, but she supposed the embarrassment about it was compounded by the fact that her parents and sister kept telling it over and over. It completely overshadowed her performance, no one spoke about her singing or went on and on about her being a perfect Belle like she'd hoped they would. Nope, it was all about her mean right hook and how no one better cross her. Childish insecurity was easier to soothe now and she truly wasn't bothered by Louis' reaction, though she supposed him calling her his baby mid joking about it certainly helped. She rolled her eyes, though she smiled reluctantly as he got close, hands on her shoulders as she finished up with cleaning her face entirely. "Unfortunately I think that's still your job, since I'm just over five feet and haven't thrown a punch since then, but I appreciate the vote of confidence." She patted his hand on her shoulder and then let it linger there as she turned her head, laughing reluctantly in spite of how much she still hated that story. "You're so annoying."

That's what she was talking about though, wasn't it? Balls deep jump scares being dangerous? Cause yeah. Designed to fail? Definitely. Fun as fuck? Also yes. They were for sure on the same page. But he wasn't going to say that. Not bluntly. Yeah yeah, it had to be a first, but now wasn't the time. Not when she was moving along, finishing her task. Just looking at her, all fresh faced and kinda awkward? It had him siiiiighing, his squeeze turning into a slow massage. "I mean, I guess I can hold things down for us, just know its you losin' out if these magic fingers get damaged," he teased, working a little deeper into her shoulders. He dipped next, a few kisses grazing just below her ear, "I've got magic all over tho. Fingers...hands...lips..."

"I told you I'm not upset, why can't you just believe me?" This was not how Liberty had been imagining this night going, arguing in whispers at the side of the room instead of commanding the dance floor or taking cheesy couple photos. She couldn't help but be self conscious, peering out at the people passing them before turning back to her date.

"Believe you?" Allison's voice cracked a little, but she quickly covered it with a laugh. "Because I know how this works, Lib. You say that, you reason it away but it doesn't change the fact that I fucked up. And then it builds and builds until you can barely even look at me anymore, let alone be with me,"

"It's realistic for you, but you haven't met my family yet and..." Lucie wrangled herself and her expression, clenching her jaw. Dramatics would not help right now. "They're going to make so many jokes. I can already see it, which is half the reason I'm bringing a date." A fake one, but a date nonetheless. "At least, we need like, a story."

Holly hummed, index finger tapping the side of her chin, "Ok, we just say I'm in tech. No job titles or tax brackets necessary," A shrug punctuated the statement and she crossed one leg over the other, "They can't make that many jokes. I mean they could but come on Luce, I haven't met anyone that can snap back as quick as you. Plus, you'll have me, your gorgeous nerd of a girlfriend who you met through...b.umble? as moral support,"

Removing her makeup was a little tedious but by this last show she'd become expert at it, gently wiping away the stuff on her face as she peered up at him in the mirror. He wasn't letting up on the Belle thing, of course and she rolled her eyes as she watched him check himself out in the mirror. It was strange, to admire things in someone that she never thought she would. His confidence — or maybe cockiness was more applicable — was infectious. Accuse her of being in the honeymoon stage, but it got hard sometimes not to jump his bones for the most innocuous of actions. Well, until he was forcing her to spill an embarrassing story. "I was eight... and something happened between acts that meant they had to change Beast's mask last minute to this horrible one. I don't remember the details. I just... I don't know, I was singing something and then suddenly he was there and didn't recognise him. I thought it was some stranger from the audience, or something. So... I may have punched him in the face."

Louis' grin widened as she finally caved and fuck was it worth it. He bit the inside of his lip , you know, at least pretending he was trying to respect the obvious embarrassment she felt but yeah, no. That last for like a fraction of a second before he was laughing again, "Here I was thinking you fucking face planted or like royally fucked up a line. Nope, not my baby-- mid solo. you punched a kid in the face," He had to bite his cheek for real this time, tempering both his laugh and his grin simultaneously before his hands found their way to her shoulders, giving them a squeeze. "Not that it's that embarrassing. Pretty badass in my opinion. Aka, if shit ever hits the fan, I can count on you to be my knight in-- whatever it is you're wearing that day,"

Play coy, eye him curiously before looking off into the distance... Rosalie had it down to a fine formula. Ben zoning out while looking at her? Call her vain, but she knew better. "Whatever you say." She angled her body towards him a little more, one leg crossing over the other as she did so. "Share?" She questioned, holding up one of her hands expectantly.

She was good. He would give her that. She only said just enough to seem unbothered and now asking him for what? To share? His eyes flicked to her hands, a soft tut on his tongue, "And why, pray tell, would I do that, hm?" Fingers drummed on the side of the glass and Ben nodded in the direction bartender. "Sure he'd make you something if you ask. Beware though, he won't say much, but he's judgey,"

"I think we should change your backstory, actually. I don't think it's realistic that someone that successful would be into me." Except, that would kind of go against the authenticity Lucie was going for. "Could you play unemployed? Maybe really into cryptocurrency?"

"No and definitely not," Holly chuckled, giving Lucie a light touch to her arm, "You're over thinking this, babe, and you're definitely not giving yourself enough credit. I mean, I'm here aren't I and agreeing to this hot mess so, I'd say it's realistic enough, yeah?"

"Why are you looking at me like that?" As if her original intention hadn't been to entice in the first place, Rosalie narrowed her eyes, trying to push buttons as always.

Ben knew that she knew damn well why. Always a tease was Rosalie and he found himself rolling his eyes and stifling a smirk as he moved closer. "Hm. I didn't realize I was looking at you at all. Just zoning out. Long day," he said reaching for his glass. He took a swig, the warmth of the liquor searing his throat.

"Might be nice to have a date night where they're both locked away or something." Her fingers curled around his hand and she let him take the lead as they headed towards their direction. Dove was eager to wear the little dress she'd picked out and get out of her makeup finally, though Olivia's presence was still on her mind. "Mm hm. Do we look alike? I swear no one can ever tell we're related." She laughed, but she hesitated at the mention of Belle. She continued walking as they pushed through the door at the back of the stage, heading towards her dressing room. "She did not." Dove grimaced. That asshole. "It's not even a funny story. I don't know why she would tell you that." As they slipped into the dressing room, she placed her flowers down. Most people had cleared out and were heading over to the wrap party to help set up, but Dove admittedly hadn't promised to help because she knew she'd be distracted with Louis' presence at the performance. "I played Belle when I was like eight." She relented, sitting in her chair as she began to remove her makeup.

"Not really. I mean, I had some context clues otherwise I dunno. I could've guessed cousin maybe but Belle was kinda a good tell," Louis smirked, watching her move through backstage as if she could do it in her sleep. Probably could. Which reminded him, he hadn't come through on a promise of his yet either. One that he'd been itchin to do since she'd landed the role. He wondered idly about the acoustics and if they'd be as good here as they were out there before deciding the only way to know? Try 'em both. "Ok tell me the not funny story then? I'm invested," he chuckled before leaning against the vanity. He checked his hair in the mirror, he cocking to examine his own angles a bit. Yep-- still a fuckin smoke show. "You were eight. What happened?"

Tongue swiping over her bottom lip, she sucked it into her mouth on habit, brows raising at the fact that for a moment there, she'd sounded like a dumbass thinking that Van had a little kid running around free enough to break onto her property. "Almost had me with that one..." She muttered, brows furrowing as she blew air out of her lips, surprised by the clearly impressive vocabulary her neighbour was sporting. She was certainly envious of the way she flaunted it with such ease, like she just said the word 'eremite' every day. She chuckled softly, surprise littering her features for a moment. "Guess it's kind of a given, small towns talking about the newbie, but I'm a little nervous about what they're saying about me other than... Yeah," She nodded, brushing her hair off her shoulder as she stepped forward. "I'm a writer. One who is looking to procrastinate in new and exciting ways, so we should absolutely go on a goat hunt together. Uh, there's an old empty chicken coop and stuff, maybe there first?" Lillian had to admit that her presence had her a little flustered, mostly because the way she smiled was more charming than most men trying their darndest. "Have you lived here a long time?" She asked, beginning to walk.

And did Savannah know exactly where said goat was? Absolutely. But that was neither here nor there as she returned her hat to her head and they began to walk toward the chicken coop, hands sinking into her pockets. "Uh-huh, bout ten years now. What about you? Your grandad owned the property, right? Ever visited before?" she paused as they reached the old coop, casting the redhead a playful glance before stepping forward to peer into the window of the old coop, "I'd say I'd remember a smile as saccharine as yours, but there's that whole witchy thing...could've easily--" Van whistled, waving her hand in front of her eyes, and chuckled as she pulled back, "I can't see much. There should be a door on the side, mind seein if it opens?"

Stepping off the porch, she'd locked eyes with the blonde, only noticing her approach when she was close enough to greet her. A neighbour, she vaguely recognised her but they hadn't spoken yet. The whole cowboy thing, well, it certainly wasn't overrated. She swallowed, smiling nervously. "Uh, hi, I'm Lillie..." Her brows knit together at her words. "Wait, how old is this kid? Is he like a toddler, 'cause I didn't..." She was looking around, but then her head whipped back so she could look at Van, her expression softening from the alarm it'd held a moment prior. "Wait, do you mean like a goat?" She laughed in spite of herself. "Sorry. I forgot about the whole farm thing. Let me help! I'm sure he hasn't gotten too far."

Her lips twitched, watching the shift of emotions in both the woman's expression and voice. She was well aware how it sounded. No harm in a little baiting, was there? Cause if Scout was gonna cause mischief she may as well take advantage of what she could. It gave her plenty of time to repeat the name in her head. Lillie. Biblical but also, and more likely, based on the flower. Symbol of innocence and purity. It was far too soon to judge whether or not it suited her in that sense but she certainly had the look as she stood there in the sunshine, just the tiniest hints of bashfulness in her smile and laugh. "Nice to meet ya, Lillie. And yes, a goat. Thing's the bane of my existence lately, so I'd love the help, but only if I'm not interrupting. Word around town is you're quite the elusive thing. Somethin' about being a bit of an eremite, 'cept your religion is--" She gestured, making a little click clack sound as she pretended to type, that smirk of hers growing wider as her head tilted. "But if you got the time, I've got a feelin' where he could be..."

"Those for me?" She asked, gesturing to the flowers as she gave him a knowing smile. Dove hadn't done much to change her appearance save for changing out of her costume, but she couldn't just do all of the washing her face and redoing her make up alone. Nope, not when there was a boyfriend she could drag with her. "You didn't have to come to this many shows, you know..." She said bashfully, though obviously the gesture made her heart thump harder. "Though since you're here you may as well come backstage." Taking a breath, her brows furrowed as she broached the subject of her sister, remembering the moment they'd had before she left. "Also, please tell me my sister didn't say anything weird to you."

"Of course, who else?" A familiar dopey grin curled his lips and he gave a slight nod, "I mean, your cast mates aren't badd but not a one of them's worth such a bouquet anywhere near this masterpiece," It was a bit of a tease. Bit not. But eh, not important as he leaned down, stealing a kiss. She hadn't had time to clean up, by the looks of it, which was fine by him. Meant he had an excuse to slip backstage and right on cue as always, Dove suggested just that. "Yeah, but I wanted to. Honestly bummed I didn't make more. Feels weird, but good, being untethered though. I'm gonna have to try the no phone thing more often," Louis offer her his hand as he spoke and started to lead her toward the stage. He couldn't help smirking as she confirmed what he expected. "I thought that was her. Or you know, some creepy super fan stalker. Either way, I was told to ask about a time you played Belle? I'm pretty intrigued. What happened??"

In the audience, Olivia sighed, annoyingly in awe of her younger sister as always. Whatever Dove had inherited, well... she supposed maybe it hadn't been available to her. Those thoughts always snuck their way in, frustratingly. It wasn't the time for that. She'd been surprised when the person beside her in the front row also so swiftly stood up for her sister, practically in unison with her. It wasn't hard to put two and two together, though, especially after that. Picking up her bag and her program, she eyed him, deciding she might actually say something. "She's amazing, isn't she?" She said idly, a small smile on her lips. "Have you seen her perform before?"

"Oh yeah, fucking phenomenal," he said with a soft chuckle as adjusted the flowers in his arms-- irises. "I have, but usually I'm back there somewhere, so this is a much better view," Louis gestured backstage as he spoke and once the stage had properly cleared and lights settled, he shifted to get a closer look at the woman. She knew Dove, no doubt about that. Otherwise, they would have asked about the play in general, not just the lead. "What about you? Big fan or new one?"
