Okay, I really hope I’m being a pessimist but I don’t think Conformity Gate is real, I think the duffers just don’t know how to end a show without inconsistencies and the audience noticed those inconsistencies and made theories that, while great, are not in the duffers' capabilities. Hoping conformity gate is real, but I do doubt it.

Okay, but no? Nice ending and all, really ties everything up in a nice little bow, except for… no! It doesn’t?????plot holes plot holes plot holes. Stick a man with random man shown for three seconds and call it queer representation! Don’t talk about the maybe only wlw relationships (maybe the ONLY queer fleshed out relationship) AT all in the finale and omg we’re so progressive and we have queer characters!! Painting! Birthday! Loverslake! Genuinely kinda upset, but!! The duffers probably couldn’t have done them justice.
