hi and welcome to the blog i made to document my search for this random series of friday night funkin mods i found one night!!! im looking for two (or possibly more) mods featuring a character named loreley. the first one is a reskin for girlfriend, and the second one is either a full week, or a reskin of smoke em out struggle (vs garcello). ive been posting about her on my twitter but i decided to make a sideblog dedicated to her so i dont spam the people who followed me for funny art with her. most of what i have is explained but ill put another explanation and description under the cut for people using screenreaders. please let me know if you have anything!!!
loreley is a green-skinned plant girl in one of those sweaters with a boob window, and she's got that thing that a lot of friday night funkin women have where her vagina bones (???) are showing through her clothes.
her voice is remembered as sounding very crusty and digital, which my friend theorized is because her creator used utau for her voice instead of fl studio and traditional chromatics. our best guess is that she's voiced by defoko (uta utane).
she's most likely from 2021 due to following the trends of the time, such as the character becoming scarier or angrier as the week continues. the second mod featuring her also ran on kade engine instead of any modern engines.
her animation was very amatuerish and janky, most likely done by overlaying sprites over an existing spritesheet in order to replace the art. she wasn't even properly animated, being a single drawing for each pose that squashed and stretched vertically.

real talk though, i know i said the last video would be my final update, but i was just sent something that i think deserves to be seen. i was really hoping this wasn't the case, but it confirms something that i've suspected for a long time.
it's more dialogue, and instead of fudging it a little bit like i've done before, i'm going to try and port it into psych engine properly. it deserves to be seen the way its creator intended.
what's most likely gonna be my final video about vs loreley is coming any day now, max finished performing reconstructive surgery on the final song
i say most likely because i can never count out the possibility of finding out that there's a dead body hidden in the mod somewhere. like if i turn a txt file into a png it turns into the death screen from hong kong 97 or something. you never know with Lost Media

VERY cool news loreleyheads: after much file reconstructive surgery, we have the second song!! it doesn't seem to have vocals attached, but given the weird turn the mod takes i'm not sure if that's because we only have the instrumental file, or if that was intentional on nintendoguy333's part.
update: found the vocals for the song!! i think the one we had before was a demo version of sorts since it's also missing some bgm effects and whatnot.
