Where's the Treasure?

Almost Familiar || Jasmine + Dmitri || Pre Curse Break

Jaz smiled a bit, then licked her lips.  ”Of course, I’ll talk to you later.” she nodded, a light blush spreading over her cheeks.  She could hear Ruby laughing to herself at the way that she and Dmitri were interacting with one another, but she did her best to ignore her friend.  ”I’ll make sure to swing back by after I close up the shelter.”

Dmitri nodded and grinned at Jaz before heading back to the kitchen where Granny tutted at him for being silly, that secret little smile creeping onto her lips when she thought he wasn't looking. It made him happy to know someone thought maybe he and Jaz could be together. Aside from him anyway.

A Ball to Remember

Jaz took his arm with her hand, keeping a gentle grip on the rose.  She knew, she just knew, that this evening would be one of her favorite memories from her time at Hogwarts.  No matter what happened, she knew it would be wonderful.  ”Thank you for asking me.”

Jim smiled and nodded. "Not a problem at all. Thank you for saying yes." And with that, they headed into the ball. He glanced around, knew a good chunk of the people there, waved at one or two. "Pumpkin juice or punch?" he asked and thumbed towards the refreshment table.

Will you, won't you? || Jaz + Jim

Jaz smiled, “Its white, so not much to worry about.” She laughed a little.  She was so excited about the ball now.  Jaz hadn’t thought that anyone would ask her, so she had planned on going alone and just hanging out with some of her friends.  It was a nice change to have to her plans.  She could feel her grin getting wider as she thought about the ball.  

Jim grinned at it. "I bet you'll be absolutely beautiful as always," he said and glanced at his watch. "Well, I have to be off, see you soon?" he asked and smiled, pecking her on the cheek and leaving before waiting for an answer. He definitely hoped they would be seeing her soon.

A Ball to Remember

Red dusted her cheeks as she took the flower, “Thank you.  You look very handsome.” Jasmine smiled, smelling the rose.  It smelled wonderfu, “Are you ready to go in?” She gestured to the open doors, nervousness still fluttering though her. 

Jim nodded and and held his arm out for her. He was so happy to be going to the ball with her. It would be his last Yule Ball and there was no one he'd rather take to it. "Thank you for accompanying me."

Jim walked into the Great Hall in his suit and wasn't surprised in the least to see all the people. The music was playing already as he searched for his date. Maybe they should have found a place to meet up before. That might have been easier. He spotted her and grinned, then his mouth fell open at the gorgeous dress. He came up and handed her a white rose. "You look so beautiful."

Will you, won't you? || Jaz + Jim

Jim grinned at that. "That's awesome! Um... what color is your dress?" he asked. He could write to his mother and ask her to send him a tie to match if his didn't. His was just a plain black and white set of dress robes, would fit with just about any color so that shouldn't be too bad. Maybe he could get a pretty flower for her, too. Perhaps one of the herbology students could help him with that. He was rubbish in that department.

Jaz laughed a little, she was normally fairly early.  Although she had planned to come in a little earlier than normal so that she made sure to see him when it wasn’t so busy.  That and she had to give something of Henry’s to Mayor Mills when she came in.  He had left it at the shelter the day before.  ”I’m always happy to get here early and talk to you.” 

Dmitri nodded and smiled, happy she'd come in early. It always made him happy when she did. He loved talking to her, but he was too chicken to actually ask her out. "I'm happy to hear that." He chuckled a little and Granny cleared her throat at the door to the kitchen. "Well, that's my cue to get back to work. See you later?" he asked and gave her a little smile, hoping she'd say yes.

The Princess and The Cabin Boy || Rapunzel + Jim || Enchanted Forest

Rapunzel took the boots, a smile on her face.  She slipped them on, they were a little big, but not too terrible.  Certainly better than walking around in the snow without shoes.  She then looked back at Jim, “Thank you.  This is very kind of you.”

Jim smiled and shook his head. "Anything to help a wary travel." He went to go get her a bowl of stew from the pot over the fire and asked his mother if they had an extra room. He sighed when she said no, but the girl could stay by the fire if he watched her. They couldn't let anyone out in the snow so close to the full moon. He headed back and sat, putting the bowl and a spoon in front of her. "My mother says we don't have any rooms available, but insists that you stay here for the evening. We've got blankets and the bench next to the window can be pulled closer to the fire for a bed.
