Consider an AU in which Luna is a waitress at a very expensive restaurant with extremely lousy customers

※ Gentiana is the manager of this lovely establishment and you do NOT want to ask to see the manager. ※ She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’ll politely tell you to fuck off, right to your face ※ Aranea works there too, but she’s more of a security person than a server ※ She keeps an eye on the lousy customers and if anyone gets touchy or disrespects Luna/Other workers, you know she’s gonna have them on their ass as soon as possible. ※ Her record is 7 seconds. She may or may not vaulted a table to get to a man trying to accost Luna. She’s very proud. ※ Cindy is a regular, she comes in during her free time away from the garage ※ She says she likes the food but they all know it’s not THAT good (She’s there for the cute girls) ※ Crowe only came in the first time because she was babysitting Iris and Iris made her, but she actually quite likes it. ※ She chats with Aranea and shittalks the bitchy customers ※ Monica owns the place and she is Very Tired™ ※ She’s always really busy with other work so Gentiana does most stuff but she’s a super good boss. ※ Very lenient with holidays, pays well and will fight anyone who says shit about her girls

Coctura owns the restaurant across the street, her and Gentiana have a friendly (or is it?) rivalry over who’s the best chef. Holly also works part time at Coctura’s place, so Cindy is often dragged in the middle of the squabbles between the two restaurants. This meaning both chefs try and get info on the other, but Cindy just wants to eat her darn food in peace.

Luna’s cousin Stella comes to visit her occasionally, but she always eats at Coctura’s restaurant instead, and Aranea insists it’s betrayal. Really it’s because Aranea is very pretty and Stella finds that rather intimidating (and hot.) She once gave Coctura a recipe for a Tenebraen dessert, and Luna had to hide her embarrassment that she hadn’t thought of it.

OH MY GOD YES Aranea keeps staring at her from across the street like she’s about to steal their secrets and Stella looks extremely cold because shes focusing very hard to not blush

Asdffghjkl this is great (Iris knows all the gossip because Crowe keeps sending her on “missions” to get information) Aranea doesn’t want to admit it but sometimes she spends so much time observing Stella’s features from afar that she forgets she is supposed to watch out for her behaviour Gentiana surprises her being all distracted by the view and asks if there is something dangerous somewhere and Aranea goes “uuuuhhhh…… nooooo??” while she frantically tries to collect her thoughts again

Eventually, Stella announces she’s moving into town, to Luna (and Aranea)’s delight. She’s staying with Luna until she finds her own apartment (She would’ve stayed with Ravus but Nyx just moved in) which means any time Aranea wants to hang out with Luna at home, Stella’s there. Which makes it 100% more awkward for them both. The more Aranea stares, the more intimidating Stella finds her, and Stella can absolutely take a fight, but can’t handle her lil gay heart. She gets a job at Coctura’s, and by now workers in both eateries see what’s happening, and for the sake of business, Gentiana calls for a truce with Coctura under the terms that she’ll help them hook up Stella and Aranea (who by the way, is /very/ frustrated Stella now WORKS at Coctura’s, not even visiting them! Luna! She meant Luna. Yeah.)

Yesss I love this Stella now has a front row seat to aee Aranea both staring and fighting with customers and she’s lucky that Coctura is nice and patient because she probably doesn’t get as much work done as she would if she wasn’t distracted Meanwhile Aranea tries to make herself look intimidating everytime she has to drag someone outside but it just looks like she’s showing off Gentiana organizes an all girl’s night for all of them to celebrate the truce and pretends it will help them to form stronger bonds but really it’s just so thise two can finally talk to each other

“Drunken sapphic shenanigans” is a wonderful mental image thanks And of course they’d be the last ones standing, and have the longest and most ridiculous arm wrestling competition ever because none of them is sober enough to be really good but none of them wants to call it quits Aranea is really impressed that Stella can hold for so long against her but keeps affirming that she would win if she had drank less Stella is extremely angry at how good Aranea’s biceps look like and is determined to keep going until the view doesn’t fluster her anymore (which might not happen at all)
