See this is why I've been smiling like an idiot for the past several weeks. I think I might die smiling.

I don't know if I'm the only one who felt this way but has anyone felt that "I'm moving on now, but wait I still love you" feeling? Let me elaborate. Say you fell ridiculously hard for this guy. According to the Internet, if you accept his flaws and still love him fully, you're "in love" with him. That's exactly how you felt. You see his flaws and you think that's what makes him perfect. Imperfectly perfect. After a while, you heard he's with someone else. You accepted it. You cried but you let it slide because you know you had no power over it. After a year or two, you heard they're no longer a thing anymore and the guy you loved (see the -ed? You think you moved on by this time) told you he's moved on and happy for the girl and for himself. You caught up with life and...you felt it again. You feel the fast-paced heartbeat, the increase of smiles and happiness, the "I wish he's thinking of me too" feelings... Admit it. You fell again. So you fell again. You're trying to force yourself out of it but... No. Your heart is like "I WILL NEVER LET GO" and your mind is like "You're happy here" and the universe is like "HAHAHA. YOU'RE MESSED UP AGAIN". Other people would probably had plunged and taken it all in but that's not me. I'm afraid of just accepting it. I'm afraid--terrified even. Dearest fate, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU.
