PEPPER SPRAYS HIM IN THE EYES

This being Goku, of course, he’s able to side step the woman’s (in his eyes) slow attack at speeds invisible to the human eye. “That’s a dirty trick, but whatever!” A playful smile tugs at his lips, as it seems he mistook that as an acceptance of a fight. Clenching his right hand into a fist, he unleashes a blow aimed at her midsection. Thank god he figured out she wasn’t superhuman in nature in time, as his fist comes to a complete stop centimeters away from making contact. 

That look on his face can’t be good, and it soon becomes clear why. Even if he hadn’t actually hit her, the amount of force behind the aborted blow, would literally cause the air around them to become dead quiet, and then very much the opposite, as a large gust of wind sends them both flying in opposite directions. 

     “ No, I just don’t wanna ‘cause I’m tired and I don’t——— ”

     He’s not listening. He is, in fact, screaming.

     Plumeria is forced to wince by the radiant heat and force that comes from his transformation, the concentrated energy becoming so strong that it blows back her hair. She frowns, her nose scrunching up.

     “ You turn into a mahou shojo before you fight? Seems rude. ”

“Get ready, here I come!” Her attempt to mock his transformation goes straight over his head. Or perhaps a better analogy is that it couldn’t reach him, with that intense golden aura burning it away before it reached his ears. It wasn’t even that far from the truth, to be honest. The nature of the Super Saiyan transformation was a massive boost to strength and all physical capabilities, at a diminished level of rationality. 

And then he just... vanishes from the spot where he stood. At least that’s what it looked like. In reality, he had merely hurled himself towards her, at a speed normal humans couldn’t even see. Luckily for Plumeria, she wasn’t that anymore, a fact Goku could tell, hence the need for such extreme speed. 

He was sure she would be able to take at least a semi-serious blow. Speaking of which...

Stopping just in front of her, Goku unleashes a blow that would be near fatal for any standard mortal, aimed square at her jaw. And thanks to his golden haired transformation, he was no longer in enough control of himself to stop it, even if he wanted to, which again, thanks to the transformation, he had no desire to.

Tifa’s knees were bouncing up and down as she sat on her front porch. She had called Goku a little while ago, trying her best not to sound too hyper as she asked him to come over. She learned a new trick and she wanted to show it off to him. In all the years they knew each other, Tifa knew that anything fighting related would get his attention. 

She could sense his approach as he drew closer. It was one of the perks and drawbacks of being Saiyan. The teen often wondered if he got the same feelings as her when they were in close proximity; the increased heart rate, the electric energy that made her hair stand on end, the desire to be close…that was from her bloodline, right?

Totally wasn’t because she had a huge crush on him. Nooooope.

Standing, she stretched out her arms, smiling when she spotted the familiar black spikes in her vision. “Hey, Goku!” she cried out as she waved, her ruby hues bright. “Glad you could make it!”

If one where to wonder where Goku chose to spend most of his free time, the majority of the time, he was usually at Kame House these days, just like the old ones. That’s where he was, training as he did daily when the weird walkie talkie type piece of tech that Bulma insisted he keep at all times, started ringing. And as soon as he heard her say that she had learned a new trick, his feet left the ground, as he took off into the sky, at breakneck speed.

Fighting was literally his life. It was all he really cared about. The thrill of throwing punches, and kicks, exchanging blows, and giving someone else everything he had, and getting the same in return, nothing made his heart beat more.

That is, except...

“Tifa!”

...for her.

Ever since they had met, she had made his heart leap almost into his throat with every beat of it. Just being around her made his blood rush, and a loud thumping in his chest, perhaps even more than any fight he had that wasn’t with her.

real talk tho, Goku is pretty hard to justify shipping with muses other than Chi-Chi in most verses, without extensive rewrites, bc a lot of major events that happen throughout Dragon Ball from Z onward happen because of Gohan, who exists because of Chi-Chi and Goku. It sounds like it would be easy to just pre-establish a lot of shit, Gohan’s character depends on Chi-Chi’s (admittedly overly strict method) raising of him, so it’s v difficult to just... swap her out. It would result in a radically different Gohan in the end.
