Fievel

“I don’t mind ice, or the cold, or penguins!” he insisted. “And it’s technically not owned by any country or government so there are no laws! We can do whatever we want, Fievel! Total freedom! I could do cocaine right in the open and not a soul could stop me!”

“When I say old lady, I mean those women with saggy boobs and wrinkly faces. Over fifty five usually. Then again some women look gorgeous even though they are over sixty.” She shrugged her shoulders and gave him a chuckle. “That makes sense. Though you’d still be big and brave even though you called security for anything. I mean look at you.” Daphne looked up at him and chuckled again.

“Yeah no, she wasn’t that kind of old lady. She was under fifty, but probably over forty.” So in a way woman in the best age, but also in the perfect cougar age hunting for all the younger meat. Fievel looked down at his own freaking tall body and then at Daphne -- who was extremely short compared to him and he laughed. “Come on, it goes with the ego. I can’t be scared of things when I’m the size of a mountain.”

“Maybe we will go to Antartica,” he said wistfully, only half teasing. He knew they almost certainly wouldn’t, but he would so like to go. “It’s only of the places where I’ve never been before.” 

“Gosh, I hope she’s not one of those old ladies. I can’t imagine them like that.” Daphne grimaced her face in distaste, shaking her head. “Well, thank god she let it go. That’s good right? I usually call security right away. It makes me feel like I am a celebrity.” The female joked, brushing her hair behind her ears.

Her eyes closed, while she exhaled deeply; her nostrils flared as air passed through them. “So you were keeping girls to yourself.” Again, she declared him as “rude.” Sure, okay, the timing made sense, but since when did Brianna relent? Between each sentence, Fievel barely had time to defend herself. “Please, let me know. At least I’ll give them the time of day.”

“Nahhh.” he scoffed, waving his concerns off. “Besides, even if it is, who cares? You will probably never see her again.” he pointed out. Jynx, however, would trade being short for being tall any day. When you’re this short, you can never reach anything! In fact, Jynx was too short to go on a vast majority of carnival and amusement park rides, which he thought was just cruel irony.

“Whaaaaat?” Daphne widened her eyes in shock, placing her hand on her chest dramatically. “Where did this even happen? Did you call the security? I certainly would.”

Fievel looked at Daphne and started to laugh at her reaction. “Yesterday when we were opening and I was fixing one of the tents”, he explained. “But no, I didn’t call the security, she understood eventually that I had work to do and no matter what she’d say and do I wouldn’t follow her plan.”

“If it were me,” Tucker began, hands at the ready to demonstrate his point, “I would’ve just said ‘show’s over, kids!’ and fallen into bed with her.” He threw his hands up for emphasis at show’s over, his face animated in the way it normally was during his shows. “I would’ve taken her back to my caravan to fuck her brains out like the gentleman I am.”

Tucker dropped his hands then, and shrugged, “but if you’re not about that, I guess that’s cool. Feel bad for the woman who went after you, though.”

Fievel started to laugh at Tucker’s words. He could so totally see this whole scene in his head and the laughter just became louder. “So you’d just let the paid audience stare at the empty stage instead of getting paid. Clearly getting laid is more important to you than getting paid.” He chuckled and then shook his head. “I guess my work morale is higher than yours then.”

“Seems as though you never been to France. French women are very hands on if you know what I mean.”

“Oh I have been here few times. This one just got a bit more excited than they usually do. I mean, I was just here working like normally and she just came to me out of nowhere.”

“So you do dey nastay nastay or what?”

“No I didn’t, because I had work to do. How would you perform without a tent, huh? So I had to turn her down.”

Brianna wasted no time in declaring Fievel’s claim as “bullshit. There’s no way that actually happened.” Her arms interlocked, and settled under her (to her dismay, practically non-existent) bust; her eyes went to roll, until she fought against them. “I’ve been walking around all morning,” there was nothing better to do, “and I haven’t seen anyone new. I think I’d, like, know if there was an unfamiliar woman around, especially if she’s trying to rip everyone’s clothes off…

And, like, if she did exist, and you didn’t tell anyone, then that’s just rude. French girls are cute—” Bri tilted her head, “—don’t keep them to yourself.”

Jynx laughed. “I think being extremely tall makes you extremely tall, but not much else.” he huffed. To be fair, Jynx was definitely bitter than Fievel was so much taller than he was… Jynx was pretty itty bitty, at only 5′2″. He kind of hated it, and he hated it being pointed out even more. “Being tall is over-rated, anyway,” he added in, rolling his eyes. “Maybe just pretend you’re too high up to hear them when they come calling.” 

Jynx scoffed softly, shooting him a look and laughing softly. “Oh really? Are you sure you’re not just giving yourself too much credit?” he teased, leaning back slightly in his seat. “Besides, there’s a difference between feisty and crazy. I would watch myself if I were you, seeing how you’re apparently so irresistible.”

Tucker laughed. “You turned her down?” His eyebrows lifted in surprise. “Aw, dude, you missed out on something there. If she’s ripping your clothes off while you’re putting up a goddamn tent, she must be pretty into you.”

Fievel started to laugh. “Of course I had to say no, I had work to do and work doesn’t wait. I don’t want to get sacked, you know? Just think if you’d be trying to perform and someone is just ripping your clothes and you know you have work to do and you can’t just make a disappearance. Like, what is a clown show without a clown? The same goes what is any kind of show in the circus without the tent?”

“The fiesty ones are the best in bed,” Tucker said with a grin.

“Won’t deny that, but when they come to you all randomly when you are supposed to work and just like all the buttons are flying in the air and you are trying to explain you can’t do anything like that now because you are working. It was a harsh moment.”
