The California Dreaming Cheek palette has a nice variety of matte and shimmer colors that works perfectly for blush and bronzer. I love to use the color Sunlight color as a nice highlighter. Looking for a Kat Von D Shade and Light dupe for an excellent price? Makeup Revolution Light and Shade palette is almost an exact dupe of KVD’s palette and for only $15, it is a more affordable option as well. ULTA carries Makeup Revolution brand makeup and often has a bogo free or ½ off sale. I must say that this is one of the most beautiful matte palettes available that can hold up to higher end brands. The colors are soft and buttery and each pack a good amount of pigment that can really perform well on the eyes. With a good primer, these buttery eyeshadows go on beautiful and lasted all day until I removed late at night. I like to use this palette with other palettes or single eyeshadows. I was surprised that the charcoal color in middle is nicely darker almost black pigment that worked great for either a smokey eye or as an eyeliner, both with a wet and dry angled brush. The big pan of creamy color works great to set under eye concealer perfectly, as well. Makeup Revolution is definitely a brand to look into, especially if your on a budget or looking for cheaper options.

Wondering around Ulta I came across these lil beauties from Cover Girl, not sure if they are new but they are new to me. I love Cover Girl foundations and always feel like I push the clock backwards when using their Olay infused products. I applied this after my BB cream with a wet beauty sponge and I was absolutely in love with how flawless and youthful I looked. Hello Gorgeous, goodbye tired gal!!! I got a nice medium to full coverage with this amazing foundation. With powder to set it and setting spray to keep it looking fresh, it lasted all day look as flawless as if I had just applied. There was a variety foundation colors available for light to dark skin. I used a manufactures coupon along with an Ulta boho sale and Ulta coupon and it was uber cheap. Thank you Ulta!!!

I love getting monthly subscription beauty boxes of goodies just for me and Boxycharm is absolutely the best. I have never been disappointed in any of my Boxycharm boxes and this months does not disappoint. For only $20 per month, the boxes contain a variety of awesome 5 full size products, unlike some monthly box services that only give you sample size (I am pointing at you Birchbox and Sephora).

Vices, Vices, Vices….. we all have vice, right…… One of my biggest vice is eyeshadow palettes, the prettier the colors the more I am a goner!!! But holy moly!! This UD XX Vice ltd palette has me sprung!!!Those colors are so dreamy and divine, nothing less than what you would expect from UD. Used with a good primer and these beauties lasted all day with such incredibly stupendous brilliance that compliments came all day long. This very useful compact and portable palette can be used for a more natural look, or vamped up pops of color, or even a steamy smoky eye. There are also a few colors that work incredibly for eyeliners with a wet flat brush. For a fresh and beautiful look that’s lasts, try spritzing on some makeup spray for an all day to all night look.

ABH Modern Renaissance is an absolutely amazing palette that is filled with incredibly pigmented eyeshadows that really make eyes pop. From the light shimmer to warm matte brown to a nice pop of color with the beautiful reds and golds, this palette has the capacity to bring a casual eye makeup look into a more glam and fabulous look. Every shadow is soft and buttery, very similar to Lorac eye shadows, and perform like a dream on the eyes. This gorgeous palette does not disappoint and definitely worth the beginners budget to the more advanced budgets. ABH is definitely a brand that is one to take notice of.

Buxom Stone Cold Babe left me one stone cold babe, this product was a complete fail!! For the price I expected better quality from the eyeshadow and bigger size pans of eyeshadow. The eyeshadows all applied patchy and had little to no pigment at all. There was no staying power, even with a primer. The colors all became muddy when I tried to blend them out and had to keep reapplying to keep any color on my lids. I expected more from the quality of this brand and was yet again let down by Buxom.

Lorac Mega Pro 3 is a dream palette!! It has so many vibrant neutral to smokey colors that can capture any heart. Every shade performs beautifully, soft and silky and just the right amount of pigment. The mattes perform so beautifully and do not become muddy on the eye at all, but rather blend so beautifully and cohesively. The shimmer colors packed lots of pigment that is not over powering but are absolutely gorgeous on the eyes. There are so many eyeshadow looks that can be done with this beautiful palette that it’s hard to ever get bored with it. This is perhaps one of the best palettes that Lorac has ever made, and they are known for their exceptional quality. This was an Ulta exclusive and well worth every penny.
