phoebe remained silent after she had heard her youngest daughter speak. it was no secret to the charmed one’s and leo that phoebe’s greatest fear was becoming evil. again, no less. she thought about her eldest child that had died too soon, her one and only son that possessed demonic powers. phoebe had defended her unborn son and yet, she still loved him the same amount that she loved her three special daughters that she had with coop. if god forbid her daughter would be evil, phoebe was certain that she would still love her. however, the mother would do whatever it took to bring her daughter back to the good side, much like her sisters did for herself so long ago.

phoenix had thought long and hard over the days since her active power had come into existence and she could still remember the embarrassment she felt when she had aged to fifteen and had yet to develop anything but he basic powers of the average witch like her older sisters and cousins. her sisters had their own respective powers, all stemming from those of the power of three. molecular deceleration and acceleration, premonitions and telekinesis (the her half white-lighter cousins all had other forms of that specific power). phoenix had nothing. she felt inferior to them, not worthy of being the daughter of a charmed one --- until recently.
she had realized something was up when she began to suffer unfathomable hot flashes, something she would often put off as just growing up or maybe the stress of the life of a halliwell were just getting to her. but the random outbursts of anger that had ended up in the signed curtains within her bedroom that she had hidden in her closet or the scorch marks along her dressers told her that it was anything but normal. fire throwing, an ability to throw streams of fires from her hands (just like what her mother could do when she was pregnant with her unborn brother years before). phoenix remembered the story and immediately associated her new power with evil. she was the youngest, the most impressionable and now she was losing her mind trying to hide her true self from her family, though Wyatt had been in on her secret since the time he had startled her, causing her to shoot out a jet of fire towards his direction, though luckily he had orbed out just in time.
