     “You know, I almost feel bad for them. You’d think these guys would understand to stay away from pallets once they see both of us here. Pallets aren’t safe when just one of us is here, I don’t know why they think they are when we’re both here.”

     Glancing around for a moment, the ginger finished patching up Jed before grinning from ear to ear. There was a twinkle of mischief in her eyes as she heard the rev of a chainsaw in the distance. It was already obvious just what was on her mind,

The ginger scavenged through the fridge in her kitchen, the tiny light inside casting a small glow on the surrounding area. It was close to 1 AM but she was hungry, the rumbling of her stomach being the reason she’d left her bedroom in the first place. Grabbing an apple from the fridge, she easily kicked it closed before hopping onto the countertop to the right. She’d had to nudge the blender to the side in order to make a spot for her to sit but she didn’t feel like heading back upstairs yet.

Her mind was wandering, thoughts on just how long she’d be dealing with the stray dog she’d picked up nearly a month ago. She’d only ever intended on letting him stay the night before taking him to the homeless shelter in town. He’d ended up strong-arming his way into staying, the glimmer of a knife still fresh in her mind despite the fact that it’d been so long ago.

She didn’t come back to reality until a shadow stepped into her view. Snapping her head up, the apple slipped from Meg’s hand as her eyes widened. There was blood everywhere, on his clothes, his hands, everywhere. Meg felt like she’d been dunked into water, a sense of frigid cold overtaking her as she found it hard to breathe.

     “What... What the...”

Meg didn’t know just what to do. Ever since she’d seen that knife, the athlete had always had a feeling about just what he was. What he did whenever she was gone. She’d never seen any evidence until now though. Fear shot through her as he towered over her, a bloody hand coming up to grab her chin rather roughly before she even had the chance to look away. Blue eyes widened as he leaned over, causing the ginger to close her eyes with fear as she felt his other hand grab her right arm. 

Something wet touched her forehead before he pulled away from her. She was slow to open her eyes again, biting the inside of her cheek before looking away. Hands left her form before something was dropped onto her lap. Meg took a shaky breath as she tried to calm herself down.

     “Go take a shower... Put the clothes in the wash...”

The ginger wasn’t sure how long he simply stared at her before walking away without a single sound. Meg brought her hand up to touch her chin, pulling away soon after to find blood on her hand. She was sure there was a bloody handprint on her arm as well and his grip had definitely been strong enough to leave bruises. Shifting to move off the counter, the item he’d placed in her lap dropped to the tile. It took a moment of her squinting at the item to realize just was it was. A simple necklace, smeared with enough blood for her to have an idea of just where it’d come from.

Whenever Michael brings her back a gift from one of his kills (earrings, necklaces, etc), she keeps them in her vanity out of sight. She feels too bad about just how he got them to ever consider wearing them.

Meg has a habit of taking care of Michael’s hair since he doesn’t seem to care for it much. The ginger will take the time to help him wash it and put haircare products in it. She also enjoys braiding it once in a while or putting it in different styles. 

The fact that Michael eats a ton of Meg’s cooking makes her happy since she hasn’t had people over to eat her food in a long time. However, it is a pain in the ass to cook enough for him due to his humongous appetite.

Meg has a habit of looking over her shoulder even when she isn’t in a trial because she sometimes feels as if she can feel eyes on her. She’s never sure if her brain is just making shit up or Michael is really lurking somewhere in the shadows.

During trials, Meg will do whatever she can to distract Michael in order to help her teammates. This includes going along with letting him touch her hair and be a general fucking creep.

There are times when Meg will stop by Haddonfield to try and scavenge for supplies. She usually leaves something behind on the porch of the Myers house as a little offering in hopes that Michael won’t kill her for trespassing. It seems to have worked so far, surprisingly.
