I’m seeing a lot of people absolutely refusing to believe that Ray and Egon could ever have a falling out so bad that Ray would completely write him off, but.

I can believe it. It hurts, but I buy it. Humans are complicated. Shit can happen. People you thought were your ride or die can give up on you. Friendships you thought would last forever can end. That’s life. It’s not nice and it’s messy and it hurts.

Is it the ending I’d imagined for the guys? No. Doesn’t mean I’m going to automatically reject the one we got.

I think this movie may have pulled off the classiest, most respectful cgi resurrection of an actor who’s no longer with us than any movie before it.

There was no moment where it felt fake or uncomfortable or uncanny valley. It just felt like Egon and it was absolutely beautiful.
