“You’ve got a little…” Anwar mumbled, pointing to the blood, “Nose bleed or something.”

“That comes when you’re not very good with combat..”

“Hello, gorgeous.” Ash said quietly to himself as a person walked by, a cigarette sticking out from the side of his mouth. 

Riley heard someone mumbling. She looked to her right and saw the person smoking. She looked at them confused. “Are you trying to kill yourself slowly?”

“well, everyone needs to get better with things, don’t feel alone. i need to get better with combat and realizing that every time i leave camp, i could get killed. five years of knowing i’m a halfblood and i’m still not used to it.” she laughed, shaking her head. 

“i’m okay with combat but, i prefer archery. that’s my strong suit.” she laughed, smiling at her half sister. “i’ve seen you doing combat, you’re like…amazing.”

“one of these first years came up to me and asked me to help him train…i literally started laughing and shook my head doing this–” she made a gesture with her hand and continued “–and just walked away. only think i’m good at is archery, nice combat.”

I have an idea, man up and cross the barrier and we can go get some. 

Man up? Are you joking? Never tell a girl to ‘man up’. I’ll go but i’m bringin my Bow and some arrows.

“ you can’t be cocky with no entitlement to bragging rights, it’s just— no way. i’m kicking your ass for sure. don’t worry though, my shoulder is always here if you need to cry it out. ”

I have entitlement to bragging rights, I’m Apollos daughter for gods sake. Just so you know, I won’t need to cry it out.

As an enforcer of the law, who do you believe? The one with one million bar fights on record or the clean record. I don’t even remember what it was over, some girl I was never interested anyway probably. 

Why would you fight over some girl you weren’t interested in? 

The assault wasn’t as bad as it sounded. Some fucker pressed charges after he started shit but it didnt go very well  which, well done your mother must be proud. 

But if he started it, how did you get charged?
