These are the books I’ve ordered few weeks ago, I’m already excited! I also joined an online book club and our first read of the month is a classic by Ovid, the myth of Icarus and Daedalus from the metamorphoses (book viii). I knew this poem already because I’m a Greek-Roman mythology enthusiastic but I’ve never read it before now and I admit it was such a good reading! I’m gonna buy the physical book soon because I can’t wait to read more of Ovid’s poems.

Hello everyone, I’m officially back and posting! Apologies for continually going MIA- I truly had no idea how difficult both studying medicine and maintaining a blog would be. However, I’m back and ready to give it my best go!

I’m now in my second year of medicine. We are in our last year of theory- with our final two years entirely based on hospital rotations! This semester we are focusing on neuro and MSK (which I’m super excited about) 🧠🥰 The past few weeks have been what we call “intensive weeks”- essentially back-to-back lectures and a bunch of neuroanatomy labs. I already feel behind!

I’m looking forward to the year ahead and can’t wait to start posting on here again. I’m currently completing my anatomy lab notes for tomorrow and doing a little revision! For those of you who messaged me or asked a question but never heard back, I apologise profusely (I fell behind on replies here too). From now on, if you have a question or would like to send a message please feel assured that I will respond at a much quicker pace ❤️❤️ I can’t wait to see what everyone has been up to while I’ve been gone!
