Feron lead them down the spiral staircase towards the main stage. The bar stretched out before them. Recently wiped down and still dampâFeron notedâafter leaning against it. The club was empty aside from the dancers warming up, and the barkeep moving stock out from the backroom. There was a drink, half empty and unattended, on one of the tables closest to the bar.
Feron looked about.
Asaraâs face turned a bright blue, almost matching the Asari Feron had walked up to. It took quite a lot of effort to keep her jaw locked closed to not look like a complete dumbass.
âUm⌠Oh, ah, hi,â Asara stuttered after looking at the other womanâs hand for too long. âIâm Asara Orkus. Though, donât know if it was such a great idea saving his hide.â
She gave an awkward laugh, rubbing down the plates of her head. That joke was a bit out of line. âSpirits, fuck, Iâve not improved on the whole humour thingâ. Asaraâs mandibles flared in embarassment.
An eye brow plate raised as Asara shuffled into one of the empty chairs.
âSafe houses?â She said.
Feron sat back in his chair while Liara leaned forward, perched on the edge of her seat. Hands folded on the table before her. Feron saw her fidget her feet under the table. He dragged her eyes up her body when he thought she wasnât looking.

Liara sat back with a smile, âThat is great. Do not give me the coordinates, even I do not want to know.â The asari booted her omnitool, âI am sending you a way to contact me in an emergency. Please only use it in an emergency. If you need me I will remain in touch with you through Feronâs omni-tool through heavily encrypted message.âÂ
Feron arched a brow, âHold up, where is it that we are going? Please let it be someplace dry...â
