I recently watched all 11 current episodes of Dragon Striker and I really liked the detail that in an episode where a fire broke out you see the students with water and ice powers helping the staff put it out. Mainly because these range from side characters to straight-up extras. It feels like the crew are keeping track of who all the students are and what they'd be doing even if they're not currently important to the plot.

I don't think I've ever talked about Murcielago on here but I've been hoping for an anime for the better part of a decade. Unfortunately now that we finally have a teaser for such a show I'm already getting low budget vibes from the few shots they've shown. I can't quite put my finger on why, maybe the fact that it isn't lit like Bloom Into You or Witch From Mercury is making me expect IILWTV-level of stiffness.
I just discovered that the toy store in the nearest town to where I live in West Cork is selling gunpla now. When I got into this hobby in 2017 I had no idea where to find a store that sells gunpla without travelling all the way up to Dublin and now they're selling ZAKUS in a town that doesn't even have a cinema. And they're reasonably priced!

All the Gundam references in MAWS makes me want to see a background artist slip sulemio into a crowd. Not in that show specifically, but any cartoon.
Watching Prison Break while my friend watches Witch From Mercury made me feel like sending him an image that I'm not sure anyone else on the planet will find amusing.
If you scrape together all the melanin in Arknights you can almost form a whole squad.
I finished Serial Experiments Lain today and started Prison Break. Why Prison Break of all things, given the media I usually post about? Because that way I could convince my friend who's a big fan of the show to finally give Gundam a shot. And it worked. I linked him to Witch From Mercury but also told him the original series was an option, and he went for the former.
Anyway Prison Break's pretty exciting so far but I'm quickly reminded of why I don't usually watch shows like this. There's some sub-plots that feel like they exist just to fill the 40-something minute runtime. Also why does Lincoln appear in the credits first when Michael is unambiguously the protagonist? Lincoln gets like 2 scenes an episode so far.

It actually took me like a day to do so after posting this because I was about to watch it at work while it was empty but then 2 customers walked in right as the OP finished.
Anyway I love everything about this shot.

With all the concerns about how the show can wrap up all its plotlines in 3 more episodes, we have to consider the very real possibility that we all got wrapped up in a 250 million dollar ad for a videogame whose goal is to have all the characters reach their in-game profiles rather than conclude the story.
Hey remember when a bunch of the show's limited remaining screentime was taken up by a storyline that everyone thought was setting up a Noxus spin-off, and then turned out to be even worse than that and was actually setting up a League of Legends event?
You know what's crazy to think about? A new yuri fan these days is probably more likely to watch a Gundam show before Citrus, if they even get around to Citrus.

Came across the trailer for a game called Prison of Husks today and tried out the demo and not only is it a soulslike with retro 3D graphics and the aesthetic of the first few locations of Dark Souls but it seems to have a Signalis-esque story in which you play a female-presenting doll looking for their explicitly female beloved. I struggled with the demo as someone who's never gotten a handle on parrying in any game but I have enough reasons to look forward to the full release.

I suppose I should be glad that I only discovered this now and not like a year ago but curse you for getting me hyped for a game with no release date. Take all the time you need but also curse you.
