Dinosaurs !

Utahraptor (Utahraptor ostrommaysi) "Utah's Predator/Thief"

Utahraptor is a genus of Dromaeosaurids, a group of feathered carnivorous theropods (more commonly known as raptors)

Utahraptor was discovered in the Cedar Mountain Formation in Utah (duh)

Utahraptor is the largest known dromaeosaur, measuring up to 23 feet long!!

Utahraptor's iconic sickle claw (a defining trait of dromaeosaurids alike) is around 9-10 inches

Utahraptor lived in the Early Cretaceous, 139-134.6 Million Years Ago and was likely an ambush predator, hunting ankylosaurs and iguanodonts

Fun Fact: The Jurassic Park Velociraptors were made that large because of the lack of a large dromaeosaur, but Utahraptor was found shortly afterwards :P JP Velociraptors were actually modeled after Deinonychus!

Amargasaurus Amargasaurus cazaui (La Amarga Lizard)

Amargasaurus is a genus of Sauropod dinosaur that comes from the Early Cretaceous Period and was a herbivorous dino that reached from 30 to 43 feet in length

Amargasaurus was discovered in the La Amarga formation in the Argentine provinces of Río Negro, Neuquén, and Mendoza

Amargasaurus is known for its spines that went along its neck/back, either used for display or defense with a popular theory being that it supported a sail like Spinosaurus !

Fun fact: This dino is my partner's favorite :P

Pachycephalosaurus (One of my personal favs !!)

Pachycephalosaurus (name meaning thick-headed lizard) was a bipedal herbivore who lived in the Late-Cretaceous period (roughly 72.1 million years ago - 66 million years ago)

Pachycephalosaurus's species is P. wyomingensis, the only known definitive species
