in order to lead a happy life im gonna have to disappoint my parents a bit

not to be dramatic but this post genuinely made me consider my priorities in life and the choices i need to make for my own wellbeing

whoever’s reading this, i pray that you find happiness. not temporary happiness, or “if i pretend and put on a smile & laugh, maybe i’ll be happy” kind of happiness, but long lasting real happiness. the kind of happiness that makes ur face glow & lights up ur soul. you deserve it

every mother who’s critiqued her daughter’s appearance based on ~what men do or do not like~ owes that child an apology

also if you tell your daughter that she won’t have any friends if she doesn’t do such and such with her appearance lol

not even in a sexual way but i’m just craving affection because i feel like crap i just want someone to hug me for a couple of hours and tell me i’m going to be okay
