ok so I’m making a Chima au in my head (might make a fic or some art) that MOSTLY follows the main storyline, and one thing was bothering me:
I want to keep the plot point of the hunters getting reformed, because it fits the message and I want to explore Fangar as a character more. But I don’t feel comfortable reforming a guy who was acting… like that… towards a protagonist that was presumably a kindergartener when he was already a teenager.
which of these is the best way to handle the situation?
make li’ella older, possibly a former classmate of fangar’s who he crushed on
Make fangar driven fully mad by his research, with brief flashes of clarity.
Combination of both
write out the plot line all together and try and fill in the massive plot gap
Remaining time: 3 days 2 hours
If I make li’ella older I’ll probably turn her relationship with Laval into a one sided puppy love kind of thing, if I include it at all. I was already considering cutting it for lagger reasons. She’d also probably be older when Tormak adopted her, her biological parents possibly being members of the tunnel cats
if I make fangar driven mad, his occasional bouts of clarity would have him expressing disgust at what he was doing before snapping back with a snarl. He wouldn’t just be disgusted by the li’ella thing, but also the trophy room and his obsession with flinx
