But the names of the prophets Joel and Elijah are interesting in this context: Joel יוֹאֵל yôʔēl is usually translated as 'YHWH is God' but can obviously be read as 'YHWH is El', and Elijah אֵלִיָּהוּ ʔēliyyāhû is the reverse, 'El is YHWH' (the -i- is a hireq compaginis, a meaningless linking vowel, and almost certainly not the 1sg possessive suffix pronoun—that is, there's no reason to read his name as 'my god is YHWH' no matter what Wikipedia claims).

The book of Joel is a post-exilic pastiche (otherwise his name would be יְהֹואֵל yəhôʔēl, for one) and it's not clear when a potentially historical prophet Joel is supposed to have lived, but Elijah is supposed to be a contemporary of Ahab, who was a real king of Israel contemporary with Shalmaneser III in the middle of the 9th century, over two centuries before Josiah.
