these are wolfknights without their armor, the runes can be seen on the chest, shoulder and forearm, along with two runes carved onto metal plates that were fixed onto the bones of the knight.

the rune on the chest is the rune of stamina and allows the knights to move supernaturally fast.

the one on the shoulder is the rune of power which allows the knight to utilize their phsyker abilities with little risk of corruption.

the one on their forearm is the rune of strength, which would explain itself.

on the metal plate in the chest is the rune of resistance, allowing the wolfknights body to be able to handle small arms fire, along with strengthening their skeleton.

and finally, the pack rune, a special rune specific to the pack legion they serve in allowing them a special trait or phsykic ability unique to the legion.

these are a race of large reptilian humanoids, that strongly resemble terra's snakes, each serpentide stands at 8 feet tall when fully grown, and is about 13 feet long from nose to tail tip. although for their large size the serpentides are quite fast and agile, using their extremely muscular tails they will coil around a foe and tightly squeeze them, causing their skeletons to collapse within their bodies, causing any movement made to try to escape extremely painful, and often causes the sharp broken bones to pierce through the flesh of the victim.

although given their strength, the serpentides can controll their tail muscles incredibly well from the moment they're born, with them often gently coiling around their partners as a showing of affection and for protecting them.

while they're warm blooded, the serpentides often live in warm humid climates, due to the moisture in the air allowing their scales to remain smooth and easy to shed when molting. within the fang militarus serpentides will usually work together to coil around and crush large machinery before using their long bodies to slip into the wreckage to finish off the terrified crew inside.

the wolfborn are a race of powerful primal killers and extraordinary soldiers, every wolfborn is trained from birth on the many arts of warfare and hunting, from the age of 5 terran years the pup's fangs and claws are fully formed, and ready for combat. a wolfborn normally stands at 6-7 feet tall when fully grown, but few have grown larger, mostly with the largest wolfborn recorded is Lucas Lycan (alpha of the forge fangs) standing at 9'6. despite their violent reputation on the battlefield, they're a kind people, with entire communities often working together to help raise the pups.

their main capital world is located close to the eye of terror and surrounded by several fortress worlds. however due to the constant mild exposure to the warp the wolfborn has evolved into a phsyker dominant race, although most of the population's powers are too weak to be used in combat.

wolfborn serving within the fang militarus make up a bulk of the forces there, with multiple squadrons moving in perfect unison to take down large war machines similar to a pack of terra's wolves taking down large prey.however when a wolfborn's combat skills and talents are viewed to be above those alongside them, they're taken to become a wolfknight.

wolknights are the elite warriors of the wolborn, each knight's armor and weapons are hand forged to near perfection. in order to become a wolfknight the chosen wolfborn is taken to a primal world, and is airdropped into the dense wilderness with nothing but the clothes on their backs and are tasked to find their way to the only base camp on the planet. those that survive are trained for a hundred years, and are given their first surgery that carve psychic runes into their bones and muscle tissue in order to change their bodies into powerful soldiers, afterwards they stand at 8'7, similar to adeptus astartes of the imperuim. after this they earn the title of "initiate" and now must complete a trial unique to the pack legion of their choice, with each pack legions trial being as deadly as the last.

example: the trial for the "sea fang" legion is called the trial of the void, where knights are abandoned on a space hulk with no armor and a simple bolt pistol and must journey across to reach the other side where their legion is waiting with open arms, only 1 out of 1,000,000 initiates survive.
