HIATUS

I’m back and have taken possession of my main blog! I’ve permanently moved Mariana & Brandão to a secondary blog, which you can find right here. This main blog will now be for whatever Brazilian (period) novela is floating my boat at the moment. This year it’s Éramos Seis, and the ship is Clotilde and Almeida. I have little to no time to actually gif, so it’s going to be rare, but I want to have a place to do that whenever I’m able. When I was giffing Mariana and Brandão I know some of y’all relied on my English translations, but since I last gif’d, tumblr has made some changes which seems to lower the quality of gifs, sadly, and this very clearly affects the text on gifs. Because of that (in addition to my lack of time), I will not be making or posting any sets with dialogue. All I’ll be posting are cute or romantic little moments.  The novela only began two weeks ago, yesterday was barely the twelfth chapter, so this ship will be my main theme for the next 6 months. @femalesedits has a fantastic thread of video clips on twitter of all their scenes thus far. You can find that right here if you’re interested. The story is only in the first act and the couple is over the moon happy at the moment, which means drama is coming, and soon. I think it’s gonna be good, and I’m thoroughly looking forward to what’s ahead. I’ve been enjoying the entire novela and characters, which is not something I could say, at any point, about Orgulho e Paixão. I’m sure I’m not going to feel this way all the way through, but right now I’m genuinely enjoying all of it and all of the characters.  So, that’s it. Just a heads up so you can unfollow the blog, and save/bookmark Mariana & Brandão’s new address if you need to—I’m hoping to revise the subtitles one final time at some point. And I am also on twitter now, as of this week. I’ll be commenting as I watch and definitely retweeting edits and the like, so if any of y’all are on there and watching let me know so I can list you!
