“You’re not falling short Felice.  Skia’s just been pulling away from everyone.  But it’s gonna be okay, I’m gonna make sure of it.”

“Okay.” she said halfheartedly. “What about you? How are you doing?”

“I didn’t see the need to tell people that I was proposing ok? I was nervous as is on getting the guts to ask her so I didn’t say anything to anyone yet. Why can’t people understand that maybe I wasn’t ready to tell anyone until I knew for sure she’d say yes. Maybe I didn’t want to have to go through telling so and so she rejected my proposal and having to remember that all over again if she did. Feel disappointed all over again.”

“I’m not just talking about that!” Felice suddenly blurted out. Speaking of keeping something in, she knew that she was guilty of it as well. Finding out that Skia had tried to take his own life and then being told to stay away from him for awhile was heartbreaking. She’d always felt closes to Skia out of all of her siblings, and almost felt like it was a personal attack when that happened.

“Mom? Mom please get up. I miss you.” Felice said, shaking her mother slightly. 

100% done with his littlest sister right now. Come on, the one sibling he got along with well. “Why would I want that.”

“Well, I would try to sell it but considering my age that probably wouldn’t go well. Therefore I thought that you might be able to do something with it since it’s clearly worth something.”
