It depends on the occasion.
When they meet at the workplace, it’s “Scribe” or later turn to “Acting Grand Sage” and “General Mahamatra”.
When they meet outside the workplace in public or when they are with friends, it’s “Alhaitham” and “Cyno”.
When they meet between their breaks in private—behind the shadow of bookshelves in the House of Daena, in the calming silence of Rozan Garden, in the dusty Restricted Repository—or in the comfort of their home, behind the closed door, it’s “Alhaitham” and “Cyno” followed by a series of kisses and embraces almost like worship to each other’s bodies.
(And then, in the distant past, before the red sands in the desert were tainted by despair, it is “My King” and “My Priest”.)
