"You’re mind was blocked." Lydia crossed her arms and gave a tilt of her head, a sly smile on her face. "Why- because you asked me to teach you, and this is how I teach." Her mind flashed through the words he cut off with before he shot. Clearly it wasn’t clear. "When? When what?" Lydia looked at him, her eyes now curious. "This isn’t going to be useful to you when?" 

"When the targets are moving," he said harshly without intending to. Quickly he set down the bow and ran a hand through his hair. He shouldn't have said anything from the start since Lydia believed in just shooting, not necessarily for attacking purposes. "Just don't think about it alright. I'm sorry." He stepped away of her with a deep sickening feeling in his stomach. Villains should not have friends. Especially friends of royalty. "I think I'm good with today's lessons, Lydia."

New Flame {Lydia + Arron}

Carefully, she moved around slowly memorizing the patterns. One moment, she was secured and held close by the warmth of his hand on her back, and the next it was gone. Chuckling she followed his lead and spun her halfway around and to her surprise didn’t make her face him again. Instead she was held even tighter and closer to him. Her hands wrapped around herself and held onto his forearms swaying gently with him. Never had she danced like this with someone. So close, so intimate, so- comfortable. His soft words made her smile, a wave of warmth washing through her. Relaxing, she closed her eyes focusing on the feeling of his heart beat, steady and strong. “It is a gift of words that you shower me with, and I have to say that they shine.” Lydia responded softly with a soft smile, her gaze glancing at his resting head. 

Slowly swaying back and forth without a care in the world was something Arron always opted to do. "I take back what I said before," he said softly in her ear. Moments like these were hard to forget, more importantly they were memories that would never be forgotten, not for him at least. "You are sweet, yes. But you definitely are not simple. Not like most girls. You're complex, which is a good thing." Arron kept his voice down but continued to shower the girl with words. "You're not a girl who focuses on being the most popular, or who focuses on dressing to impress you are you," he removed the one arm from her while using his other hand to twirl her back so that they were in the waltz position, but this time not moving, "And that is all anyone, especially I, could ask for."

Archery Lessons?

There it was- his smile. It was genuine and cute. Charming. HIs piercing eyes darted away again back to the targets making her only focus his words. “It’s alright, but you might be surprised at why I’d believe. It wasn’t easy for most of us here back home.” She gave a small shake of her head as she watched him prep to shoot, smiling smugly as his comment. Her eyebrow raised as she watched him lose the arrow, hearing is soar towards the target with power unlike hers. In the mark, close to the center. “Hmm.” Lydia looked him over before walking over to stand behind him. Her finger tapping her cheek in thought. “Again.” This time as he readied another arrow she paused him right before he released. Pushing his shoulders down, she ran her hands over the tops of them making sure he was straight and still relaxed before dropping her hands carefully down to his hips. Her touch was firm but gentle as she turned him slightly. “Now, close your eyes for a moment, breath and just relax. Trust your bow, feel it. Everything works together. It’s all one motion, just like when you play piano. It’s a feeling.” Lydia stood next to him, speaking softly and tapped his heart. “In here. Now clear your mind of everything, sometimes I think of things that make me happy to help.”  

"Again," Arron mumbled under his breath as he placed another arrow into the bow he shook his head. Again. Again. And again. A word his father used too many times for Arron's liking and he was grateful to have Lydia for a teacher instead of him. As he was getting ready to fire off another bow, he could feel Lydia behind him and was almost tempted to turn around and ask her what she was doing. But instead he stayed where he was. Adjustments. Lydia had made adjustments to his body posture. Her touches were soft, but she knew where he needed to be and how he should be position. "It's not all like one motion. Not like a piano at all." He shook his head, furrowing his brows in thought. "Why do all of this? This isn't going to be useful to me whe--" He stopped dead in his sentence as he closed his eyes. Better to just go with it. Taking a deep breath, Arron opened his eyes only too shoot his arrow; watching it land directly beside the previous arrow he shot.

I don’t think they will, but Araceli is just harder to make say yes. He asks more questions then Grant, because the only think my twin worries about is me getting hurt. Araceli, worries about everything. -chuckles- I only told my twin to meet you. -raises her eyebrow- You think I’d say something bad about you?

New Flame {Lydia + Arron}

With a smile on her teachers face already and a firm hand on her back, Lydia felt better about her dancing. With a quick nod to show she was listening, she didn’t dare let her eyes stray from his as the count of the rhythm moved with her heart beat. Perfect synchronization. “Aye, it does.” She responded with hushed words and another quick nod. Lydia was surprised at how quickly she was catching on. Even when her brothers tried before they would have been red in the face already with irritation. Arron, however didn’t and moved with such skill, such grace. Something that was strangely beautiful to the red haired girl. More. That’s all she knew she wanted now. More dancing, more soft spoken words, more small flutters at his touch, more time with him. 

"Good," he said softly, continuing with the same slow movements for a bit longer. Something this simple was easy for him, but that was only because he had years and years of practice. He knew he'd never get far in the world knowing how to dance like this. But that never stopped him from going and teaching people something he personally loved to do. And dancing with Lydia, although sweet and simple, he enjoyed it more than he enjoyed dancing with most people. So without a word of warning, Arron took his hand away from Lydia's back and instead used his other hand to spin her around so her back was to him. And now he took the time to wrap his arms around her waist, his head resting on shoulder as he swayed them back and forth. "Sweet and simple. Just like you."
