As you may or may not know I have been running FedererLive on Twitter for almost one year after my beautiful friend Emma handed the account over to me. On the 25th of July Nike Tennis contacted me asking if they could share something special with me. Not even knowing what that something with be it took me half an exuberant second to respond with a huge ‘of course’. Yesterday morning I received a package postmarked Nike WHQ Exports. A feeling of extreme gratitude washed over me, I felt so lucky to have been given any unexpected gift, let alone one from Nike. I had no idea what it would be - a poster, a T-shirt maybe - so you can only imagine my shock when I opened it to find… Roger Federer’s Champion Jacket from Wimbledon 2013.
Yes, this jacket. As I unlocked the wooden box (complete with RF logo) to reveal the jacket I felt incredibly emotional, there really aren’t any words to describe it. But I’ll try. Overwhelmed, yes. And grateful, so grateful, to an extent I can’t express. There were lots of tears and even more shaking as I read the card it came with. Finding out there were only 10 jackets made in the world and I had one. These kinds of things do not happen to me, ever. I still feel like I am in a dream. I don’t deserve it, but I will treasure it for as long as I live.
Now for the thanks. Thank you to each one of you for following me and for every kind message. Emma, this is as much yours as it is mine; you gave me this opportunity, and for that I will forever be in your debt. Now, if I thanked Nike Tennis every minute of every day for the rest of my life it still would not be enough to. But it won’t hurt to start now, thank you Nike. Thank you. It means the world. [Video: closer look at the jacket]
This is incredible :D :D :D You deserve it so much you amazing lovely person :D

Q: And perhaps we'll see tomorrow... it may happen that you play Federer and he is 5 years older - could this be the last time in a great final? He is slowing a little bit down and it's more exciting, the idea that this could be the last duel of a great rivalry.
Rafael Nadal: If my memory is not bad - I'm not talking about you - but some of you thought about that some years ago and we are here in 2013 and he is number 2 in the world, and I am number 5 after not playing months and we are still playing good and I hope that this is not going to be the last time and we will play tomorrow perhaps in the final. The results are there and you cannot be number 2 if you don't play great for weeks and his results in the semis in Indian Wells, and Wimbledon last year and the finals in the Olympics and he lost in the semi and then he played the final of the Masters Cup and this is not 2 years ago and then he lost in Indian Wells against me and he stopped for some months and then he lost against Nishikori and then not one week later has had a good chance to be in the final but I am not a specialist and I think that Roger is still here.
When I lost in 2009 at Roland Garros, I lost No. 1 to Roger in that tournament, but I really wanted Roger to win the tournament. When somebody deserves to win, I think it's fair. Roger played a lot of finals in Roland Garros and was unlucky. I got emotional for him. I am an emotional guy. I don't think the sport is just a game.

They said he was finished, they said he was washed up, they said he was old, they said he was past it. Turns out they knew nothing about Federer at all.
